Civil War: The Confession
she looks so fucking proud.
Since the day I could think I’d had this idea in my mind, this piercing notion that life was completely meaningless. Me and everyone else were just treading water until our bodies gave out and we sank back into the darkness. When you feel like that 24/7 you might as well get fucked up beyond belief, ‘cause you don’t believe in anything in the first place.
Joseph Fink, for. the. win.
'but misha being in the 200th ep went against what the writers were intending for it, they'd have to rewrite everything!!'
lol they wrote an episode where dean made heart-eyes at a dog, i think they can figure out how to write misha/cas into the 200th by virtue of writing being their fucking job.

"I am an In The Flesh fan, and what I do in my untreated state is entirely Dom Mitchell's fault."
gay men are definitely misogynistic and terrible, don’t get me wrong, but MORE misogynistic than straight men? have you ever met a straight man
I really can’t believe people are defending this when the first paragraph is like the oldest homophobic stereotype and the whole thing ignores that non-straight women exist, just because she has a small kernel of a point doesn’t make it okay for her to say this
Right like I’m pretty sure gay people fought for the right to be gay in public without being beat up, and for treatment of AIDS, and for equal protection laws like…The idea that all that gay people care about is sex and partying is VINTAGE homophobia.
yup, plus i really hate this idea that straight men’s attraction to women somehow means they care more about women as human beings, like again have you met straight men?
and it’s pretty rich to say gay men are worse misogynists than straight men because they’re too apathetic about women’s rights when straight men are the vast and powerful majority of men as a class — you know, the class that’s responsible for patriarchy
of course gay men actively perpetuate patriarchy as well, but she doesn’t say that, just that they don’t step up, and the idea that gay men failing to stand up for women is more misogynistic than straight men actively perpetuating patriarchy is really, really telling about how people hold privileged groups, in this case straight men, to a lower standard of decency and use this to demonize oppressed people
