Radar thinks that Guinness' bed is the best place to hang out, chew on things, and ambush everyone.
Radar really enjoys sleeping on your arm. If this keeps up, I'm going to need a bigger desk. (Right now he's found Guinness' biggest bully stick and is ferociously attacking it. It's bigger than he is. Really glad Guinness doesn't resource guard food or toys.)
They're figuring it out. :)
Guinness is really not sure what to make of the little guy. (This is from last night - this morning they've been actually playing!)
ETA: I forgot I hadn't mentioned this - that is indeed a new little brofur. :) The new little guy is Radar, and he's actually Guinness' cousin. (Guinness' dad and Radar's mom are litter mates.)
It's been a while, but I thought people might like to see Guinness' holiday photos. (Including some outtakes.) I still refuse to believe the scale that says he's up to 45 lbs now.
Guinness and I had a fun day off - I took him to a pumpkin patch, although it was very hot and he was too distracted to really be willing to look at the camera. And then I put him in an octopus costume, which you can tell he really enjoyed and appreciated.
I keep trying to tell Guinness that normal dogs carry tennis balls on walks
ETA: Just in case anyone is worried - that's my water bottle, not a random one he found. He has a particular love of these crystal geyser bottles, and specifically loves unscrewing the lids (under close supervision - I'm always concerned he's going to swallow one). Recently he's started demanding my empty one on walks and carrying it.
Guinness and Kirby begin the competitive couch napping after a rough morning of playing. (I love this couch. I'm fairly certain it deserves some sort of couch heaven.)
I know there’s a lot of you out there so I have a question. I have a 2 year old corgi that I’ve had since he was 8 weeks old. He grew up around my 9 year old pit bull and a 6 year old lab mix. I’ve since moved into my own place and he occasionally sees them, as well as random...
Honestly, I'd try asking some of the trainers on tumblr - doggydayjob often answers questions people send in.
Guinness' favorite new game at the beach appears to be "wave chicken". He doesn't seem to understand the ocean will always win. Co-starring credit to my friend Julia. Audio removed because wind on a mic is not super awesome for listening.
Guinness decided this pallet on the beach made for an awesome spot to dig out a shady spot.
CORGI
Nothing drives me more crazy than people who do not know the breed Corgi and just assume that it’s a mix. I overheard a woman telling an entire group of people: “I know what it is, it’s a mix of that hot dog breed with Lassie!” Seriously?!
Seriously. This. Every time.
Try being a cardigan corgi….
I assume Tesla also gets the "is that an aussie/corgi mix?" question?
Another cool corgi shirt, available in hoodie, long sleeve & v-neck styles. Unfortunately they don’t carry my size :(. Here: http://teespring.com/corgiparent#pid=11&cid=360
Ahhh! So many choices!
OMG. Does want. (I like that more of these are starting to include cardigans.)
Guinness is not entirely certain about this new hot weather gear, but it definitely seems to be keeping him cooler.
OMG that's amazing.
ETA: Ok, now I'm a little bit less ridiculously excited - if you're at Comic Con, you should go say hi to Chris! Artists Alley TABLE BB-12 - I hear he doesn't bite. :)
Guinness takes his digging pretty seriously sometimes. Up to and including using his entire face as a shovel.
