Our Garden Crew in their element! :)
Outdoor Programs lead an amazing and educational primitive skills trip. We learned how to build our own shelter, make a fire without matches, and make a bear hang.

#Repost @wwcfarm with @repostapp. ・・・ “Oh hi!” Hey there lil’ thing! Welcome to the world. Cute little red heifer. For over 10 years, WWC worked to create a solid black angus base. This helped streamline meat quality, finishing times, and breeding. In the past few years, we have introduced Hereford Bulls to the herd. Crossing these Hereford Bulls with Angus females produces the white-faced black cattle that are starting to make up our cow herd. These females benefit tremendously from hybrid vigor and are more docile, fertile, and keep weight on easier on pasture alone. They are often called “black baldies”, but occasionally you get a red one showing her Hereford heritage. Thanks Cattle Crew member Ciara for the gorgeous photo. #warrenwilson #warrenwilsoncollege #wwcfarm #angus #hereford #blackbaldy #calving #spring #forage #graze #grass #grassfed

Summer Jam 2016
Be sure to stop by our table tomorrow and learn more about summer 2016 opportunities!
"On Tuesday, February 2nd, the Career Development Center hosts its annual Summer JAM (Jobs and More), held in Canon Lounge from 11:30am-1:30pm. Summer JAM features over 35 regional organizations interested in connecting students to their summer job, internship, and PEG 3 opportunities. The Wilson community should make time to stop by to learn about opportunities from, and network with, the superb lineup of organizations."

Our Dorper sheep (who do not have wool) and pigs are all cozy in the barns today.
