i’m not sure if anyone is still here and idk how to start this.
so hi, this is meghan. no one will probably read this but that’s fine because i’m writing this for myself.
i started going on tumblr when i was 13, mostly to look at anime and interact with friends. it eventually grew to be a huge support system for me. i was diagnosed with depression when i was 14, but if you’re reading this, you probably know that whole story.
as i got better and happier, tumblr became a source of stress for me. i didn’t know why, so i left. recently, i’ve come to realize that it was because i spent a good portion of my lowest points on tumblr. being on here just brought back too many bad memories.
i’ve been doing so much better lately. i distinctly remember genuinely thinking that i would kill myself before i graduated high school. i graduated on june 3rd, 2017, and i‘m going to college this fall.
i don’t know if any of you are still here. there are so many online friends that i ghosted because i couldn’t deal with my own past. if any of you are reading this, i want you to know that even if we only talked once, you helped me through some of my worst times and i genuinely love you for it. i’m sorry i left.
i’ll probably be deleting this blog soon. it represents a part of my childhood that i don’t want to forget, but i also don’t want floating around the internet. if i decide to make a new blog, it’ll be with this url. but for now, i’ll just leave this here and see what happens. have a nice day!
