A little Sunday throwback to our time spent in the most beautiful air bnb when we first got to Scotland three months ago. Can’t believe how fast it’s gone already! . . I’ve spent the day cleaning the house and getting ready for a big friends pot luck Christmas dinner tonight so no reading done for me. But I’m almost done The Roanoke Girls, and powered through the first Renegades book by Rebecca Yarros (which I lovvvvvvved, unsurprisingly). What are you reading this weekend? . . (at Glasgow, United Kingdom)
Harry Potter AU - Balkan School of Witchcarft and Magic
It’s autumn and I am completely, utterly in love.
Magic was singing in me, through me; I felt the murmur of his power singing back that same song.

From Kiara Garrett:
In the spirit of #WeNeedDiverseBooks and working for a real live “We Got Yall” (word to KaTera for bringing this to my attention), I have decided to create a list of book recommendations. “If you liked this album, read this book”. This list will be updated, but this is just where I started. #HappyReading

edmond dantès arriving back in france after spending 14 yrs in the chateau d’if:
“I think you’re a fairy tale. I think you’re magical, and brave, and exquisite. And I hope you’ll let me be in your story.”
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
“Enter the players. There were seven of us then, seven bright young things with wide precious futures ahead of us, though we saw no further than the books in front of our faces. We were always surrounded by books and words and poetry, all the fierce passions of the world bound in leather and vellum. (I blame this in part for what happened.)”
William James (via wordsnquotes)
“Listen to me, Aelin will be fine, she’ll escape that coffin, she’ll slay Meave and she deffs won’t die for the lock. In fact, Rowan and Aelin are both going to live, and so will Dorian and Manon and Chaol and the Cadre and Aedion and Lysandra and the Thirteen. No. One. Will. Die. It will be smutty pairings and rainbows everywhere.”
Second breakfast ft. turmeric and ginger coffee, pumpkin waffles, and my favourite hobbit’s misadventures.
