NL: Een illustratie voor het derde issue van wemadeitzine. Het centrale thema deze keer was ‘sokken’, na wat half uitgewerkte concepten en ideeën die iets te dicht bij mij vorig werk aanleunden koos ik voor dit simpel concept waarin ik bovenop wat artistieke “to do’s” kon in verwerken:
- gelimiteerd kleurenpalet. - vrouwen, die ik veel te weinig teken wegens immens intimiderend en uitdagend. - perspectief.

EN: An illustration for the 3rd issue of wemadeitzine. The central theme this time around was ‘socks’, after some half completed concepts and ideas that I felt leaned too close to my previous work, I chose this simple concept that gave me the opportunity to incorporate some artistic “to do’s”:
- limited color palette. - females, which I draw way too often because i find it intimidating and difficult. - perspective.
Fun illustration to make and especially fun to draw all the little details in the environment.

WeMadeIt zine #2
The 2nd issue of wemadeitzine arrived and it is glllllorious! Lots of great work by a diverse group of artists.
The zine’s theme this time around was fat unicorns, I chose to do a ride of the Valkyriesesque thing with fat unicorns….and cute fluffy creatures!
I’ve also attached a picture showcasing the 2 illustrations I submitted for the 1st and 2nd issue, just to show off the extreme contrast between the two.
