Huuurrrr! So I decided to work over my old piece of Jared Leto as the Joker after I saw that new haircut. Is anyone else really excited for the movie? :D
Going back to some artworks which I did a while ago is something I enjoy a lot because it allows you to see how you've improved. In this case: Lighting! ^^

Aw! Hey there Anon! I’m sorry, I only just saw your message! There’s a journal that I wrote a while back about some of the brushes that I use. I don’t recall where I got each and every single one but in the list you will probably find some of the “rough” and more traditional brushes! :) I hope that helps!
I've been waiting forever to finally upload this but here it is! I've been working on this piece in my summer holidays and it was incredibly much fun. Together with a bunch of very, very skilled artists I participated in a project celebrating the Flower Crowns Meme. I was assigned with doing a Marvel piece and of course it had to be Loki. I spend my summer in Sweden and used many of the beautiful flowers from my aunt's garden as a reference. (:

Rather quick sketch of Jared Leto as the Joker. This was fun and tough but also a nice experiment. Not sure yet whether I'll work on the details a bit more. Maybe after Christmas. ;)
Did this in about 40min after watching the Star Wars teaser. I really liked that sword! can't wait to see what fighting style they came up with. :)

I'm really late on this again but I watched Guardians of the Galaxy today! It was so good! And I am so in love with Groot! Too many feels...
A 90min sketch while watching TV.
I really, really enjoyed working on this! Very challenging and so much fun to paint! Because I've never played any of the games it was extra tough for me but I tried to come up with the best interpretation possible. (: I used a couple of references for this but I tried to create the face without any reference which was a new experience for me and I learned a lot. I constantly kept changing stuff and ended up trying to stick with my style while also going for a concept artish look. And I still need to decide on flowers. This is tough! :D
This is part of my entry for the Flower Crowns Artbook. Can't show you more but I'm sure you can see what I'm trying to aim for. :D It's incredibly much fun to paint but my hand and my wrist seem to be giving up on me a little due to... excessive painting so I need to slow down a bit. :)
Oh, and if you're wondering why that awkward German girl paints something for a book featuring the theme "flower crowns" without actually painting a flower crown: I'll add it later! ;) I haven't fully decided on a design yet.
