"Cause when you’re fifteen and somebody tells you they love you You’re gonna believe them”

I’m 19 and still find myself believing them

Do you ever see someone and wonder if they are genuinely happy? Because I do.

This adorable girl is the daughter of a family friend - her name is Tiffany, and she just saw Taylor live for the first time, in DC! Tiffany is autistic, so she didn’t really realize what going to a concert meant - so this video is when she realized it was the REAL TAYLOR SWIFT on stage in front of her!

Here’s what her mom says: Music has always been a very powerful means of communication and engagement for Tiffany; it’s a universal language, one that she can speak just like her “typical” peers. Taylor Swift in particular helps Tiffany bridge the gap caused by her difficulty expressing herself, as she is one of so many affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. On tough days, we hop in the car, crank the music to Shake It Off, and in our hearts we truly believe that “it’s gonna be all right.” A huge thank you to Miss Swift - you made a concert for 45,000 people feel as if it were intimately for one very special little girl!

Taylor, if you ever see this post, just know that Tiffany loves you SO MUCH and you have made her heart so very happy!! xoxo

this definitely will bring a smile to your face!!!! taylorswift

I think, what I wish we would all do is be a little bit nicer to ourselves. We have enough going on out in the world that could make us feel terrible, or not special enough, or not cool enough. We don’t need our own minds telling us that too. So if theres one thing that you do after this concert is take it easy on yourself. A little bit. Do that for me. Do me that favour. Okay?

Taylor Swift, angel straigh from heaven. (Speach before Clean - DC 13/07/15)

She’s abandoned the “thank you for coming; you’re all so lovely” girl next-door attitude (although she still does say “thank you for coming; you’re all so lovely”) for something more empowering. That’s why 1989 is so important. She knows who the fuck she is. She no longer is asking for permission. She controls her image. She’s here. The moment is hers. And she is not going anywhere anytime soon.
