Not yet! The song has sorta been sitting around for a while, I kinda thought it sounded like there was too much going on but since people seem to like it I might finish it! Just don't expect anything more exciting than what you've already heard, since that's the drop :)

I still might "declutter" it a little, unless people tell me they like it otherwise

soo, if there’s an art community on tumblr, and a writing community on tumblr…

is there a music composition community on tumblr? is there a name for it?

I want to see more musicians making their own music on my dash. especially people who write sheet music, since that’s what I’m familiar with, but I’d be happy tracking any kind of composers who write for enjoyment. amateur, professional, electronic, choral music, just noodling on piano, whatever.

I guess soundcloud, bandcamp, and youtube are more sensible main platforms for this sort of thing, but surely there are people who dual-upload here too. I’m only following, like, louie zong right now.

anyway, like or reblog if you’re a composer/songwriter blog? I guess?

I’m one, but tumblr really isn’t a great platform for music unless you’re the type of artist who can spit out an audio sketch every week in my experience. With Soundcloud pretty much dead, I think most of us have taken refuge on Twitter.
