Hiatus Notice!

{Hi there, darlings. In case you couldn’t tell from my absence, I, unfortunately, will be putting Steve on a hiatus. This is mostly due to my lack of muse for him at the moment. So, I won’t be returning to this blog until his muse resurfaces.

I’d like to apologize for not officially announcing this earlier. I’ve just been busy. I’d also like to apologize to all of those who I owe replies to! Obviously, she hadn't shattered her tailbone, but still the worry lingered. ]

[ Truth be told, her assurance actually helped ease his nerves; it was then when small smile pulled at his lips and stooped down, gathering all the scattered notes and books he could get his hands on. ]

Bucky ignored the look of scorn because it was Steve and he knew it wasn’t serious. A sigh escapes him when Steve stalks away, Bucky watching him in silence for a moment before he jogged to catch up and slung his arm around Steve’s shoulders. Worry was something he was trying to stamp down, his gaze occasionally glancing to the cloth every so often to judge how quickly it was soaking up blood. “And when I say home you’re coming to my place, no arguments. Plus I have something to show you.”

A lie, but Steve didn’t need to know that. Bucky had seen Steve’s apartment and it was barely an apartment. It kept him up at night thinking about Steve in that shitty place and his so far set refusal to move in with Bucky was becoming another source of worry. He would much prefer it if his best would move in on a permanent basis, something he would once again approach later on. For now he wanted to get Steve back to his place, get the wound looked at and get him fed. Then he could deal with the rest.

“So you gonna tell me what he did to deserve a beating?”

In case one couldn't see already, Steven Grant Rogers was stubborn, perhaps, even more stubborn than a mule. Honestly, if it was between him and a tired mule, he would somehow managed to get the animal to stand up and continue working. Thus, why he had stood firmly on his refusal to move in with Bucky. He had lived in that apartment -- that dusty, old apartment with his mother. There was no way he was giving that up and moving away, no matter how crummy it might be. Besides, he wouldn't want to impose on his friend who he believed already did too much for him. He would stay. It would be fine.

He would, however, follow Bucky's instructions and go to his apartment. At this point, there wasn't much use in fighting him. In case one couldn't see it already, James Buchanan Barnes had a stubborn bone in him too.
