Well, I just got back home from vacation last night and I already made another prop!(2 actually) Haha! One is the Electrified Paddle Ball from the trailer of the new Fallout 4 add on Nuka World. I used foam core poster board for the paddle, a ping pong ball, a vga cord braided insulation, some old scrap electronics, a nut, a clear light up shoe string, steel sealing wire, Christmas light wire and a MF cell I did a while back that came out like poopie. I also made a miniature Cappy from a bottle cap, mighty putty(for the hands and feet), thin craft foam(for his face), thick wire and a googly eye for his nose. I started on a third but, that will be finished tonight.

I may be on vacation but I couldn't help but share a recent commission I did for a buddy of mine. These pistols are inspired by Tybalt's(John Leguizomo's) pistol from the movie Romeo and Juliet. I was quite scared to do something so clean and with no weathering like I'm used to from all my Fallout builds but, I think they came out quite nicely. Hope y'all like them!

Here is something I just made today when I got home from work. It is the Nuka Cola Quantum rolling ice box from Fallout Shelter that someone challenged me to make. Well, she didn't challenge me, she just suggested it in a post! Hahaha! Someone else had mentioned it to me and I can't remember who so I'm sorry I forgot who you are. The quarter is there for scale. I made the bottle using mighty putty, Sinatra and a hot glue cast for the cap. The ice box is sintra, wooden dowels for The legs, a cut up hot glue stick for the wheels, crushed fish tank quartz rocks and craft foam for the lid seal. Now I need to mold and cast the bottle and make necklaces or something. I hope y'all like it! l1b3rtyprime.tumblr.com Facebook.com/chunkanukeprops #L1B3RTYPR1M3 on Instagram #chunkanukeprops

Here is an Eyebot model from Fallout 4 that I made last night while waiting for paint to cure on a commission. It took me about an hour to make. I used a ping pong ball, mighty putty for the face but I sanded down the visor too much, sintra, a bbq skewer, thin plastic for the chin fins, floral wire( it's bent up on purpose) and a mayonnaise jar lid. I think it came out fairly well.

Just finished up another hotel room build. This is the Fallout 2 Glock 86 Plasma Pistol. I made this using foamular insulation board, Adams dollar tree foam core poster board, craft foam, a broken flashlight, water bottle caps, a bubble wand tube, googly eyes, a marker tube, clear packaging and a green rave finger light. All the materials I either had in my tiny travel craft box, my work truck or work trailer. I couldn't find some things I needed but, I made due without. I also made an economy wonderglue with foamular insulation board, an elmers glue spout and a crappy print of the label glued onto the bottle that I did a faux crackle paint job on using elmers glue and acrylic paint. My black under shirt worked great for a backdrop, though!

Here is a project I had on my bench that I needed to finish before I take my break. It is based on a fan art painting in the styling of a vintage Red Ryder advertisement that was done by a very talented artist jacobbriggs.co.uk. I love the style of it and I just had to make it. Its almost entirely made from foamular insulation board and craft foam except the clear chamber which is from a green tea bottle and a smencil tube for the forward gold barrel. It lights up red in the chamber but, I am having trouble with it at the moment. Boo!! Hahaha! I plan on going to RealmsCon in October and it will be my daughter's weapon to go with a vault suit I am making her with my new sewing machine. It took me 1 day to make this. I will be adding some more details to it later but, I will pretty much be gone for work for 3 weeks so who knows when I will get around to it. I hope y'all like it!

I just finished up yet another airsoft build and it is the .45 auto pistol with the silencer modification from the Fallout:New Vegas add on Honest Hearts. I purchased the pistol on eBay and was quite disappointed that it is a compact version when I was positive it was full size so I could make myself another A Light Shining in Darkness. Oh well, I couldn't let it go to waste! I filled in the two grooves on each side of the frame as well as the screw holes. I then made a removable silencer( I prefer to say suppressor but, that's what it's labeled as in game) using PVC pipe, a marker, craft foam, foamular insulation board, a water bottle cap and a smencil tube. I was actually able to keep it fully functional so, that's a plus! Hope y'all dig it.

Here is a fairly quick build I did today. This is the Zhu-Rong v418 Chinese pistol from Fallout 3. I used an eBay Mauser airsoft pistol and modified it some by extending the base of the magazine well with foamular insulation board, cut off a few unneeded parts, made a template for the left and right side of the pistol, traced them onto thin craft foam and applied to the pistol. I then added more bits of craft foam around the front of the magazine well and added some to the base of it. I then filled in screw holes and sanded down seam lines, roughed up the grips and tried to make them look like wood and then painted the pistol Gloss black, added some black wash and finally some rub-n-buff. I didn't just paint a pistol and call it a day! Hahaha! I hope y'all like it!

Just finished up my Maria pistol from Fallout:New Vegas. I achieved this by using a Browning Hi-Power airsoft pistol, bondo, printable vellum, regular weight printer paper, amazing sculpt and rub-n-buff. It came out more gold than polished nickel since I failed to do a test area first. Oh well, I will Just have to make another one!

Here is a prop for the old school Fallout players. I just finished up the Bringham Needler pistol from Fallout 2 this morning. Its made mainly of foamular insulation board, sintra, thin craft foam(for the raised lettering), PVC pipe, a pen grip, two paint pen caps and a thick insulated cup straw. I have had this build on the backburner for 4 years so it's good to finally have it done! I hope y'all like it. I know I do!

My vintage Moxie bottle finally came in so I went ahead and made a Vim! Quartz with my first bottle. The blackwash is a little heavy on the neck to try and conceal the raised Moxie lettering. I really can't bring myself to grind it down and polish the letters out. It has a slight yellow tint to it since I can see I slight incandescent yellow tint to the glow and the wiki States it has a yellow tinted bottle but, since it just came out, the info may not be entirely correct. I can always put a different mixture in if need be. I can't wait to get 3 more bottles to finish the set. What do y'all think of it?

I just got back from vault 12 and have the Water Controller Chip! Damn that was a challenge! Hahaha. I just finished up the Water Chip from Fallout today. The main body is sintra and the rest is salvaged from a vintage standing wave indicator, an old corded telephone, a graphics card, a headphone jack, scrap electronics from my scrap bin, googly eyes, rubber feet from my Xbox parts bin and a Testors paint bottle. The power cord is temporary until I find the right vintage round plug and cord to use. I hope y'all like it!

I just finished up another 3D print that my buddy printed up for me. This one is Zeta Invaders from Fallout 4. I smoothed the print with acetone then sanded with 180 grit, then 600 and finished up with 1000 grit. For the paint I used Apricot, Ivory, Lite Mocha and Silver Sterling acrylic paints and sprayed 2 coats of Krylon Gloss Clear Glaze. The labels are just cropped wiki images that I covered in clear packing tape. For the final touches I added 4 small screws from a dead Xbox 360 laser lens. I hope y'all like it! l1b3rtyprime.tumblr.com Facebook.com/chunkanukeprops L1B3RTYPR1M3 on Instagram #chunkanukeprops

I think I can pretty much call my Pip-Boy 2000 finished! I have the strap made but I'm just trying to find the right "sling rings" for it. I tried my hardest to not spend any money on this but, I had to buy 2 light bulbs to use as vacuum tubes and that was only 4 dollars so, not too bad. Now to list what I used. Scrap green sintra, various wires from my scrap electronics bin, a flip switch and light cover from an old wave length indicator, a female VGA connector, the screen is packaging plastic from a toy that I vac-formed , a sense from a trash Xbox connect sensor, balloon lights, a spare gear from a DVD player, various small screws, science fair poster board display lights, a magnet and some craft foam. I will take a video of it later on. I hope y'all like it as much as I do!

Here is a 3D printed Microfusion Cell my buddy sent to me a while back and I just finished it up. At least I think I'm finished with it? I can't decide if I should weather it or not. Well, I have one more so maybe I will keep this one clean. For the paint I used Krylon OSHA safety yellow, Krylon OSHA black and Rustoleum Dark Steel. I didn't have any water slide decal paper so I had to use Velum instead. Once I cut out the prints I had, I superglued them in place and then I applied two coats of Krylon Triple Thick clear glaze. Hope y'all like it. Facebook.com/chunkanukeprops L1B3RTYPR1M3 on Instagram
