What a beautiful day it was for you. Nine months you’ve been carrying your baby by yourself since the baby daddy left you for a stipper. You were heartbroken but you didn’t let it get to you since your best friend Ashton Irwin offered to bring you on tour with 5SOS, just because he knew you needed that security and loving for the next nine months.
The tour ended a week prior to you giving birth and yes, your best friend and his friends were in the delivery room with you as you gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Fletcher. You named him after Ashton’s middle name for the fact that Ashton was offering to help you out and the face that he did remind you of Ash when he was in your belly. You could tell he was going to be a drummer or a soccer player from his kicks.
Currently you were home with your baby boy and Ashton, laying on the couch, watching a movie. Ashton was fast asleep but quickly jumped off when he heard the baby monitor go off. You got up but quickly Ashton pulled you back down.
"I’ll get him." he smiled.
"Ash come on, you’ve done all the work."
"Your point? You carried him for nine months, I will get him okay?"
Ashton left the room and you watched the monitor, seeing Ashton walk in to a crying Fletcher. You smiled at how his instincts were to your son, so dad-like.
"Aww what’s wrong Fletchy, you hungry? Diaper full?" He cooed.
You couldn’t help but awe at your two boys getting along so well. Ashton held Fletcher in his arms, slowly rocking him as he began to sing Change The World to him. You could see the little smile Fletcher had on his face and the smile Ashton had on as well.
"I love your mommy Fletcher. I love her a lot." he kisses your sons head.
A tear was shed from your eyes as Ashton said that. You loved him for the longest time and it made you happy how great of a dad he was proving himself out to be. Wiping your face you sat down the monitor and turned back to the movie.
"Well baby’s back asleep." Ashton plopped down on the couch.
You quickly turned Ashton’s head and kissed him, scooting closer as your wrap your arms around his neck and smile. He was obviously taken by surprise but he did kiss you back, smiling as well.
"I love you too." You smile.
He looked back at the baby monitor and laughed, then kissed your lips lightly one more time and pulled you to his chest, letting you rest against him.
"I’m going to always be here for you and Fletcher. I’m not going to leave you okay? I promise."
You could hear the cracking in his voice, meaning he was going to cry. You kissed his cheek lightly and laid your head down, letting his heartbeat put you to sleep.
