The best thing about her was that she wasn’t even 32 when she ran (which the age you must be to run for President of the United States) everyone (including Congress) told her “You’re a WOMAN and UNDER 32, you can’t run” and she was like “hhhahahaha  whatever bitches!” 

She also had a running feud with Anthony Comstock who outlawed birth control pamphlets as “pornographic”. Unfortunately their long running feud ended up with Woodhull being arrested several times and eventually she was forced out of public life and the country. The Comstock “purity” laws were enacted in 1873 and were not repealed until the 1960’s
