Rock isn’t dead. Rock ‘n’ roll will never die. Because rock doesn’t just live in the hearts of the famous musicians that played it on stage in 1972, a dying breed, or on the radio in the 80’s and 90’s… rock lives in the heart of the 15 year old girl who was born 25 years too late to ever see her favourite band play live, who listens to their records every night in her bedroom and stares at their posters pretending she was there. Rock lives in the heart of the 65 year old grandpa who plays the Beatles’ White Album to his grandchildren for the first time and watches as a new generation of rockers is born. Rock lives in the hearts of the musicians playing in tiny clubs across America to 50 people a night who will never stop rocking even if they have to work a day job for the rest of their lives. Rock ‘n’ roll will never die as long as there’s at least one person, somewhere, who doesn’t just listen to it with their ears, but with their heart and soul. Rock is immortal.
