I don’t think people give this generation’s of Disney Channel Stars enough credit. Like I said before, we have Cameron Boyce who’s white passing but speaks out about his black heritage and roots. We have Dove Cameron who’s a fucking angel, literally what I refer to as this generation of Disney’s Hilary Duff and who speaks up about girl power (plus, she and her boo Ryan are engaged and the cutest Disney couple since Zanessa). Zendaya, the BEYONCE of Disney Channel right now, who slays the game all fucking day and basically runs her own shit, do her own thang and pointing out REPRESENTATION. Skai Jackson, need I say more? Who wouldn’t love this child? ROWAN FUCKING BLANCHARD who vocally supports and shows so many respect to LGBT+, #BlackLivesMatter, Feminism and speaks out on so many fucking issues that literally she (and Zendaya) is like one of the very few Disney Channel stars that speak on all of these issues and more. We have Sofia Carson, who’s representing the Latina community of Disney and tbh it’s been since WOWP since we had that. Not to mention the cast of Stuck in the Middle, clearly that’s representation of a big Latina/Hispanic family that Disney has not done in years. Sabrina Carpenter, who’s voice is like a breath of fresh air, one of the talented voices that Disney has ever consumed. And there’s so much more and so many current DC Stars that are bringing a new light to what was a dim Disney Channel. People are so quick to not like what they see because it isn’t what it used to be for them. Well, I believe and I know these stars are talented and bringing new material to a growing world and network.

Ok but imagine Lucas and Riley dating but it doesn’t work out because they just don’t feel anything but Maya’s Not Having It™ because she just wants them to be happy, so Lucas and Riley end their relationship but still pretend to be going out. Through this they become besties laying in their patheticness together over Maya and Farkle. Like Riley and Lucas in sweatpants in bed eating ice cream out of the container together and moping, the best comedic relief since idk when

and then Cory bursts in and goes to kill him, but Riley’s like “No, dad I swear, there are no romantic feelings here. I’m in love with Farkle”

Lucas turns to her and goes “Awwwww, you never said you were in love with him, that’s just so sweet. Sir, I’m in love with Maya too. We’re watching love actually and crying, do you really think there’s anything going on here?”

Cory tries to get mad and can’t, so he asks them to scoot over, tell him about their problems and share their Ice cream.

Cory gets a face mask too, and he gets all huffy when Topanga doesn’t praise him for his “luminous skin” the next day. Never-mind the fact that when he left, the kiddies were sleeping in a bed together and he totally forgot about it.

Every time they have a feelings get together, Cory returns one of Lucas’s shoes (he has an entire bin)

And sometimes Zay drops in, bc free ice cream and face masks? HE. IS. DOWN.

Maya and Farkle find out about it because Zay can’t keep his trap shut, so they’re highly offended that they weren’t invited to the powwow. Of course, Riley and Lucas could never say no to them, so they invite them for the next one.

Riley and Lucas are feeling hella awkward about it because this was their special time to moan and groan about not being able to talk about their feelings. Auggie hears the commotion and comes for ice cream and face masks too. Cory and Zay are trying so hard not to laugh their asses off because they know exactly how awkward Riley and Lucas feel.

Maya and Farkle can tell there’s tension, so for their second one they invite Smackle (not dating farkle at the time), which only makes it worse because she doesn’t pick up on most of it.

With each new addition, Riley and Lucas both look at each other in terror, because this is absolutely not what these nights were supposed to be.

(side note: topanga uses this to have her wine and bubblebath time)
