Ratings for 2x02 are out and we’re at the very bottom again ☹️ Views went up by ~30,000 but we still only got ~460,000 watchers. [2x01 ratings here]
Look, I’ve had a frustrating day, so I am just going to come out and say it: It will be a miracle if we get season three. Look, with how it’s performing right now, it’s not worth Freeforms time to keep it. It’s taking up their time from other original shows that could be their next big hit like “Pretty Little Liars” I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Freeform is already looking to switch nights and we are only two episodes in. Encores of both episodes play tonight. And I’m not saying all of this to put you guys down, I’m saying it because I know we’re better than this. I’m feeling dejected quite honestly. Because there’s more that can be done. There’s more that this fandom can do. I know it…because every day I’m out there on social media and I’m talking to people. People who have never seen Stitchers before and I get to be the one to introduce them to that. You have no idea the amazing feeling it is to be able to say “hey, I have this awesome show, check it out.” I know you guys can do it. Let me be really honest for a minute, I’m going to drop my “niceness” and give it to you for real. We all love this fandom and it’s scary to talk to new people but if we don’t get the word out, Stitchers is gone. If we don’t start getting viewers, it’s gone. I’m never giving up on this and you shouldn’t either. Everyone should be fighting equally for this show, and honestly, I don’t feel like they are. I’m sorry if that seems selfish of me or whatever, but we’re basically sinking right now and unless EVERYONE steps in with a bucket or a lifeboat, we’re all going to drown.
We got 30,000 new viewers between last week and this week!! We can still pull it off

what if tonight we get ANOTHER (say very generous) 50,000 viewers at 9:00, lose about 10,000 for the 10:00 showing (because sleep and bedtimes)
then that trend continues with say 10-20,000 new viewers each week?
does anyone think that’s even remotely possible? extremely optimistic, but ~possible~?

2x03—520,000 2x04—530,000 2x05—550,000 2x06—560,000 2x07—570,000 2x08—575,000 2x09—583,000 2x10—600,000
this is EXTREMELY generous and optimistic, but my question is this: can we actually make this possible? go from a 430,000-viewer premiere to a 600,000 viewer finale? I know it’s still a fraction of what we probably need to get a season 3, but just…what if? what if this does it? where there is a steady incline of live viewers? PLUS all of the viewers from the FreeForm app, Hulu, DVR recordings, etc.

I’m honestly deathly scared that we won’t get a season 3. But as much as I am scared, I have hope. Yes live views are VERY important. But Freeform doesn’t only look at live views. They look at Hulu, DVR, and the Freeform app. They look at social media. Guys we are in a generation of technology and social media, so let’s use it. Tweet about it like crazy, leave messages for Freeform on their website, tell your friends, share things on Facebook, do what ever it takes. I’m turning on all the TVs in my house plus watching it live from the Freeform app and website on my phone and computer while the reruns play tonight and each counts as a view. So if you have the ability to do this, do it. WE CANNOT LET THIS SHOW GET CANCELLED.
