This cool kid broke her glasses! So now she has to wear her prescription sunglasses to read in the house! Ooops!

Since I'm totally hopeless at posting on Tumblr, and pretty much use it just to stalk my favourite people, I'm pretty sure I've not introduced you all to our newest member of the family. So meet Abel the Pom Spitz, he's been with us now for about 6 months and we honestly couldn't imagine life without him. The End!

My little Angel Ivey at her first Christmas Performance this afternoon! She did a fantastic job, as did all her little nursery friends! I'm sure Santa was listening to you all!

My week has included toenail removal and koala attacks! Not mentioned this before because, you know, it's gross and stuff, but I've had a mammoth ingrown toe nail for over a year, and I always persevered with it, cutting it carefully for a few weeks relief at a time, but recently it got so bad that I had to do something about it. The whole procedure took about 10mins, and the instant relief I've had from it has been amazing!! On less gross news, we received a package from Australia, Jess' nan to be precise, and in it was 24 spring loaded koalas, and the promptly and without warning started attaching themselves to the girls hair, clothes, noses, ears, just about everything that got close. Damn pesky koalas!

Chicken with herb and garlic breadcrumb homemade by Ivey Ivey needs to be involved, if she's not helping, hindering, co-operating or interacting in someway with our daily activities she basically goes into meltdown mode. So on Sunday I let her make the dinner, and boy did she do a good job! She cracked the eggs and dipped the chicken breast in, the coated it in breadcrumbs, she got a bit peeved when she wasn't allowed to put it in or take it out the oven, but I explained the reason why and she seemed OK with it... Eventually. I love my wee helper.
