The clocks went back an hour last night. Usually this is s great thing, a whole extra hour in bed... Not for parents, for parents it's a whole extra hour you have to entertain over-tired children!
Willing to bet if that spider was on THIS side of the glass they wouldn't be so close! #spider #daughter #dad #fatherhood #parenting #parenthood
This cool kid broke her glasses! So now she has to wear her prescription sunglasses to read in the house! Ooops!
Since I'm totally hopeless at posting on Tumblr, and pretty much use it just to stalk my favourite people, I'm pretty sure I've not introduced you all to our newest member of the family. So meet Abel the Pom Spitz, he's been with us now for about 6 months and we honestly couldn't imagine life without him. The End!
Have a bunch of randomness from the past few days!! All finished up for Christmas now, looking forward to a week off! :)
My little Angel Ivey at her first Christmas Performance this afternoon! She did a fantastic job, as did all her little nursery friends! I'm sure Santa was listening to you all!
Indiana getting cheered up yesterday, while Ivey was away out playing!
Update: these babies are getting big. Sorry it's been a while.
Judas feeling a little mellow yellow tonight, not his usual mean green! I love that he can just change colour at the drop of hat! #chameleon #panther #pantherchameleon #reptile #reptilesofinstagram
I'm too sexy for this Viv! Cameron getting his pose on for the camera! #reptile #chameleon #panther
Seriously, how beautiful does the abbey look in my home town on this glorious scottish Good Friday! Happy Easter everybody!
My week has included toenail removal and koala attacks! Not mentioned this before because, you know, it's gross and stuff, but I've had a mammoth ingrown toe nail for over a year, and I always persevered with it, cutting it carefully for a few weeks relief at a time, but recently it got so bad that I had to do something about it. The whole procedure took about 10mins, and the instant relief I've had from it has been amazing!! On less gross news, we received a package from Australia, Jess' nan to be precise, and in it was 24 spring loaded koalas, and the promptly and without warning started attaching themselves to the girls hair, clothes, noses, ears, just about everything that got close. Damn pesky koalas!
I love that Ivey puts her -fake- glasses on top of her head when she's reading! Haha! Oh, and did I mention that in my absence Aaliyah and I clearly lost out minds!!!
My sleepy bub!!
Chicken with herb and garlic breadcrumb homemade by Ivey Ivey needs to be involved, if she's not helping, hindering, co-operating or interacting in someway with our daily activities she basically goes into meltdown mode. So on Sunday I let her make the dinner, and boy did she do a good job! She cracked the eggs and dipped the chicken breast in, the coated it in breadcrumbs, she got a bit peeved when she wasn't allowed to put it in or take it out the oven, but I explained the reason why and she seemed OK with it... Eventually. I love my wee helper.
