This almost made me cry when I heard the news on the radio, which is a lot for me. I'm glad to see how many people, he in France and across the world, are united against what happened. May Charlie Hebdo, and the memories of those who died today, live on.

Xylopon : I was born and bred here, so although I'm younger than Granny Smith, it's been quite some time

((I think that's my fastest drawing so far, the lineart is actually my sketch, I was pleased with it so I touched it a bit more and used it ^^ 

That style with a thicker black lineart was the original style I wanted for that blog actually, and if i managed to do it today, maybe I'll go back to it eventually, I must see how it looks like on more normal posts ^^

AlsoI've been playing with the different tools on that one, getting to know them better ^^))

Happy birthday, blog !

I have things to draw, but I'm getting a new computer, which will be much more comfortable, so i'm waiting for it ! In the meantime it's lottery time ! Soon i'll include in the story a picture including some of my followers, and you can be among them !

The rules are the same as often

  • you MUST follow me
  • you must reblog this (liking does not count, so you like if you like :-)). Reblogging several times does not increase your chances as you'll appear only once in the list (but if you really want to, I wont resent you ^^)

Aaaaaand it's (high) time for an update, for my blog's 1st year anniversary, hurray ! :D

Time to introduce a second character, Xylopon, to whom you can ask questions too. Many different things were planned and changed, this update was supposed to be this long, then longer, and now I'm reverting to the original format for the sake of posting it ^^

Also the first two images were drawn in August, the third in January and the third since January. I really got caught in my job, it's really a lot of work, and combined with a hellish update (for my standards) it really took me much too long, and I'm sorry for that. I also changed software right after the first, from SAI to Krita, it took me some time to get the hang of it ^^

I'll have a separate post for it, but I'll make a 100 followers + anniversary post, in which you will have the chance to get your pony featured, It will be included in the story in not too long.

First of all : happy new year 2014 to all of you my (lovely) followers !

Secondly, I know i have not been very active lately, I’ve been very busy (new work, taking a lot of time, and moving at the same time), and I’ll definitely come back here as soon as I’ve caught up with all the late work ^^”

Speaking of which, at the end of the current arc, I’ll post a follower and probably anniversary pic so I’ll include a certain number of followers, still to be determined, so keep tuned ^^

I include the two latest drawings I’ve done, both for a friend’s birthday (today, hence the posting, I didn’t want to spoil). The first is a pony he imagined, Copper Horn, the second is a comic of one of his dreams, here is the translation of the French dialog, and if you don’t know it , the music it inspired  :

Summer vacation : check

Howdy folks ! Mod speaking.

August passed, I had quite my share of worries and really didn't feel much like drawing, especially since I'm currently changing software and it's hard, sorry about that lack of updates :/ Now it's September, and though I'll be starting work again tomorrow, and obviously be busy, I'm ready to draw again :-) And I've got something planned later for you, beloved follower ^^

As I said, new software too, so while I'm at changing a bit, I'm pondering sticking to photosets or switching to a more classic page based comic layout. What do you think ?

((Closing this story arc, which has seen quite some art change and experimenting. I guess it should become more stable now too, getting used to it :D

This post was originally planned to be a bit longer, but I decided to split it in two, so the other part will be posted as soon as I finished drawing it (backgrounds ! ;A;)

A bit late because i was drawing something for a contest, then I had an exam and after that I had to blow off some steam, now back to drawing ^^))
