Forgot to post this back in February, but here's the jacket I made for the Eras Tour! Over the span of a few months I designed a symbol for each era and hand embroidered them straight onto the jacket.
Gemstones were glued on in the hotel room just days before the concert. I don't want to think about how long it took (thank god for comfort shows and friends willing to do 2+ hour phone calls) .
Also grateful that TTPD came out after the concert.

The Court Jester starring Danny Kaye, Basil Rathbone, and the amazing Glynis Johns, and Angela Lansbury and it is all around a fun time.
All kidding aside, watch Basil Rathbone’s foot work. He knows fencing, and sets up the form even though he’s still playing up the stage blows for Danny Kaye to flail at for comedic effect.
Okay, but I need to talk about this because it’s even funnier if you know the context... Basil Rathbone was one of the greatest swordsmen in Hollywood history. Which is why he almost never won any of his onscreen fights–he was good enough that he knew how to effectively make the other guy look even better. That’s why the swordfight in The Adventures of Robin Hood looks so awesome even though Errol Flynn is nowhere near Rathbone’s level.
But this fight, right here? Was one of the only fights where he needed a stunt double. Because while he was able to keep Danny Kaye from being seriously injured, Rathbone himself nearly got skewered a few times by Kaye’s flailing around. So in a bizarre way, this is probably the closest to an even match Rathbone had in his career… just not for the reasons you’d expect.

Colin Firth is a good Darcy because he looks like he’s on the verge of throwing up and immediately sprinting away whenever he’s in a social situation and Matthew Macfayden is a good Darcy because he looks like he’s about cry or pass out whenever he’s in a social situation.
Both are valid. The important thing is that he’s terrified at all times until the third act, so to speak.

every single person who's seen Headless is like "omg please everyone watch this it really IS that good" and I wish more people just gave it a watch and saw how true that is. it just really is worth the hype every single viewer is making over it. it's witty and smart and spooky and honestly heartwarming. it's a really solid piece of media and we're just begging for people to go watch it
just give it a try! watch an episode or ten and I guarantee you simply won't regret it, only regret you didn't watch it earlier.
I truly didn’t think we’d have to work so hard to get people to watch something with this many big names in it, that’s this beautiful, and that’s free. And also…so many people have loved it and rave about how much they love it. And still, getting people to watch has felt like pulling teeth. It’s been fairly disheartening, although I am SO thankful for the folks who have watched and loved it.
Again, if Headless doesn’t become a success for us, I don’t know how we keep making stuff like this. We have to find a way for it to become sustainable for us. And we need to reach more people for it to be sustainable.

so I got new hearing aids that can sync with bluetooth devices which is great because I can enjoy music again but like all bluetooth it’s kind of buggy and sometimes I’m in the middle of a conversation when suddenly one of my devices connects so what I’m saying is the PS5 is very real and it can speak to me from inside my brain
Once during a dinner out my mom kept asking us “what’s that sound” and we couldn’t hear anything, only later did we figure out my sister had connected her phone to my moms Bluetooth hearing aids and was intermittently playing farm animal noises.
