I don't really go on Tumblr but I'm tipsy and I gotta get this off my chest.

I got a new job at the end of November. Payraise, less work, less stress....all around great step up in my career. (I'm referring it to a career now?? Wtf??)

I bought a new car in December. I have a car payment now, and I can afford it! What the heck.

I got told this week that the area manager (who I've only emailed with so wtf again) is impressed with me and that feels like a huge deal. He's my boss's boss's boss, if not my boss's boss's boss's boss. It's a little unclear still.

My boss apparently has no notes for me in my reviews. I'm 60+ days in now with 0 problems.

I heard today that whoever replaced me at my old job sucks ass so my petty ass is living for it. Apparently he's still referred to as "New Mar" and even people who weren't my friends talked to my partner (who works nearby) about how much it's sucking without me.

I went on a date with my partner of almost three years to KBBQ. It was his first time, and I haven't had it in like 6 years, so new experiences abound. I went to an NFL game on Christmas. I like hockey now? I've read 10 books this year already, although 9 out of 10 were romances so....you know, popcorn books. Also I have a partner of three years who respects my gender identity and loves me and cohabitates with me??

If you'd look at my old posts, I was a fuckup, I wanted to kill myself, I hurt myself....

I'm still not perfect, I still drink too much, but life is fucking good you guys. It gets better.

Oh and I'm wearing cloud pants and a cloud sweater, still living the nimbus Mar life.
