Synopsis of my book of the Undead
Rin had followed Jayden since the beginning of his high school career. That’s what best friends are for, right? Well, that is until they died. Stuck in the middle of nowhere on a back road with a flipped car and no idea why Rin was still walking around, the two were stuck in Limbo. Literally. Now Rin has to keep moving forward with his life. Or is it unlife? He didn’t know which. What he does know is something has changed about him, and the annoying ghost of Jayden lingering around wasn’t the only clue. Just when he was trying to get things back to normal, he meets Cristoph, an actual undead.
Now Rin’s carted off to a school of the undead where he’s stuck trying to figure out what exactly he is, why his new roommate is avoiding him, and why souls are suddenly getting sucked from the student body. As if it were bad enough to be a teenager going through puberty, let’s just add a little dash of undead drama. What was Rin to do?
Leave the school? Tried that. Get stuck in a race war with vampires, zombies, and ghouls? Didn’t really want to, but turns out Rin was the only one who could tell apart someone with a soul versus without. Did that add to the mystery of his origins? Possibly. Did that give him more homework than he needed for the remaining two months of his semester? Definitely.
Just when he thought hormonal emotions, stress from schoolwork and tests were enough, he now needed to save an entire school from being run by soulless monsters. Yay.
