Silence echoed through the hallways, but not for long. The ghost that haunted this place was lurking in the shadows, changing the hallways at will to seem like they were going in circles. They were not leaving this time; this time…Arthur was his.
He wasn’t going to approach him. Not yet. He had to torture him first. One by one, the lights flickered behind him and shut off completely. Every time he took a step out of the light, darkness loomed behind him, following his every single move. Lewis motioned his hand over a bit to create a dead end for him. He won’t be able to turn around and go back. He would have him cowering in a corner if possible. The more he watched him walk into his trap, the more livid he got. He didn’t like waiting but he wanted this moment to last.
The silence was enough to send his heart racing--feeling the ominous air as he made it through the hall way; it seemed the same as last time but..different also? He coudln’t really explain it, but some things seemed to have changed. As the flames slowly went out one by one did he stop mid step, his lips quivering open to let out shaky breathes; oh god...something was here, wasn’t it? Maybe he should just turn back && try && find Vivi--haha yeah...that seemed like the best idea.
His body turned around, only to be met with darkness; swerving his flashlight in the same direction did it seem like nothing was there but darkness. A gulp...no, that wasn’t a good idea. He’d just have to keep on going. That was until he reached a dead end.
