For example, in order to do long tasks, like folding laundry, I put on the Mario Hat:
The main feature of the Mario hat is that my headset does not fit over it, so when The Bees™ try to put me back in front of the screen, the headset issue forces me to remember why I put the Mario hat on, and back to the task I go
As a bonus, the Mario hat is also a very clear indicator to my housemates that business is getting done, and they have learned not to distract me when I'm wearing the "goofy-ass cosplay hat"
It's not stupid if it works.
Please spread Leona's story, and her evidence, as much as you can. She has a mountain of evidence proving Bethesda/Zenimax a hostile work environment for trans women, and she deserves to be heard and to receive justice for being forced out of her job.
aita for injuring my friend during a live action roleplay session?
so i (13f) larp with my friends pretty regularly. the others in my group will be referred to as N (13m), P (13f), and M (13f). the way we do this is in teams, so N and M are on a team and me and T are on the other if thats important.
to set up the scene, the area we usually do this is near some kinda steep cliffs. one day, when we were playing against each other, i was admittedly messing with N. we started horseplaying when we started getting close to the cliffs. he wanted to get out, but i didnt realize how close we were and ended up accidentally shoulder-pushing him down the cliff. he’s still alive, but he ended up getting paralyzed from the waist down.
now here’s where i might be the asshole: i refused to apologize since it was an accident. in my opinion, if it was a mistake i didnt do anything wrong. his teammate, M, completely disagrees and keeps threatening to do something. so, am i the asshole?

As someone who will never join Threads, I find there to be something exceptionally insidious about the part of its dogshit privacy practices where it collects users’ contact data.
A lot of people have my phone number, and not all of them take privacy seriously. A few of them are bound to join Threads at some point. This means I never even have to join the platform for it to collect my full name, contact info, current or past address, and reconstruct at least part of my social and/or professional circle. Despite the fact that I have never agreed to any of this, it is completely legal since people with my contact info have consented to Meta collecting their (and therefore my) info. I hate it here 🫠
