So some people think being an elitist is good? Okay.

You have to understand that some people cannot afford merch or don’t have the means to buy it, such as credit cards, or they have customs/shipping issues, etc. Talking about the series is impotant. Let people know you like it and why. It might draw other people to it, catch their attention, and that’s support too. That’s just as valid as spending money on the series. Drawing fanart and writing fics. All of these things are valid and show one’s interest.

I’m sick and tired of people like you who think they own the fandom or even the series. Who think that what they say is some kind of rule that can’t be disobeyed. People who belittle others just because they do things differently.

If buying merch is so important to you, maybe you could consider some giveaways? Maybe you should support more original work instead of just paying attention to things your dear minions do? I don’t know who the hell you think you are, but you have no right to judge people and tell them that their efforts are worthless when they’re doing everything they can to support the series.

People, don’t get discouraged. Talk about DL as much as you can. Be vocal about it. Even if the creators themselves don’t hear it, which is something you can’t be sure of - I don’t think there’s any rule saying that they can’t see what the fans are saying and they probably do see it - it’s always worth a try. Even if it only gets the attention of just one person, that’s one new potential fan. Tell the world how much you love DL. It’s never useless to do so.
