Alternate universe idea where everyone is alive and well and Naruto gets to grow up as a happy child. He has red Uzumaki hair becuase he takes more after his mom here.

Let’s just ignore the little side fact that Obito, Kakashi and Rin should actually look a bit older in here. XD

Thanks for taking a look! :)

honestly tenzo’s never really thought about a favorite color past that moment. so of course he doesn’t remember saying it. however, he does realize that it’s quite pleasing to share another thing with kakashi, so he just accepts blue as his favorite without further question.

They need to make more men who are unhinged little freaks

I've felt more represented by this fucking guy than any character in my entire life and he's not even gay

I can never forget the fact Kakashi was totally fine with keeping Obito alive at the cost of who knows how many people Obito would've resurrected

On the first day alone 40,000 shinobi died and thousands more had died by the time Obito tried to do this. There is no official count that I know of, but I've seen fan estimates that there were about 65,000 dead at this point.

And, to Kakashi, Obito's life was worth more.

It makes these conversation even crazier

You really like him, don't you, Kakashi?

I didn't even consider that Kakashi's wish for Obito to stay alive could be questionable. I think he's earned his moment of saying fuck the greater good, what about what I want?

I've been too distracted by the fact that Obito thinks staying alive and atoning for all his sins would be "so easy" compared to running off to the afterlife with an instant solution for a slightly cleaner conscience. He commited a lot of sins. Living with that would not be easy. Sure Konoha forgives literally anyone for anything so he'd probably get away with community service selling dango on saturday afternoons but anyway...

Kakashi's been spending most of his life mourning this guy because he sacrificed his life for him, no way he's going to let Obito sacrifice himself again before they've even had time to have one normal conversation. He literally stayed alive and suffered the horrors because Obito gave him a reason to do so and then Obito comes back to life and is super fucking mean about it on purpose before giving a teaser of being kinda nice for 5 minutes or so before he's like: "Sorry for the mess, I'll clean up and leave now."

NO!!

Kakashi says no. No more sacrifice for you.

And let's not forget that Kakashi decided to kill evil Obito who had no problem to kill and hurt innocent people, but this Obito who Kakashi wanted to survive is a redeemed Obito who's already trying to compensate for his sin by helping them save the world, Kakashi only changed his mind about killing Obito when he was sure that he's no longer a threat to anyone's safety, and that's when he finally for once in his life tried to be selfish by wanting his friend to survive and imho he so darn earned to choose something that he wanted for himself for once in his life.

"Kakashi only changed his mind about killing Obito when he was sure that he's no longer a threat" @skykashi exactly! This is one specific thing I like about Kakashi a lot. Or maybe even the most. Let us not forget that Kakashi had enough willpower and determination to kill Obito if need be. If he has decided so. When the decision has been made, it's only action that's left. And he would have accomplished it.

His strong backbone and some principles could never be shattered by just "any" Obito (he may experience a moment of weakness and shock, but sooner or later he collects himself). Of course, he'd want the most for Obito to live, and killing him would traumatize him, but he CAN, capable of making even the hardest decisions. He. can. even. kill. Obito. Unless it's a repentant one; he's not even redeemed yet even, he's just... changed, and this tiny, but also huge, change of heart is everything in Kakashi's eyes. It's this ray of light in the darkness they both know so well. To me, the idea of canon Kakashi succumbing to "evil Obito" is the same as depriving Kakashi of something that makes him Kakashi, idk? He doesn't let evil roost around. Even if it's Obito. Because first and moremost, he's a Defender. Above everything. And it's exactly what Obito was thinking before his final sacrifice. Kakashi, being what he is, is needed in this world as the kids' protector and Hokage, even if Kakashi's hesitant. But Obito knew he could leave the world in his -- and Naruto's -- hands :3

A Kamui fight moment to pay extra close attention to: Obito's 'put his head between your thighs and throw him to the ground'-move.

step-by-step:

Aaaand again, real slow:
