line from my poem "maybe the walls are thinner - but i cant tell if you give a shit or not", 12/10/23
You
You're enough
if i was a star and you were a star i would wink at you and blink at you and twinkle at you and the earthlings would call it science.
When it's all too much, when you're too tired, lemme hold you while you rest your head on my chest and I'll listen to all that you have to say while scratching your head and occasional forehead kisses. And you tell me that this, right here, could heal you of anything 🤍

“I love that word. Forever. I love that forever doesn’t exist, but we have a word for it and use it all the time. It’s beautiful and doomed.”
— Viv Albertine
“Because a song can take you back instantly to a moment, or a place, or even a person. No matter what else has changed in you or the world, that one song stays the same, just like that moment. Which is pretty amazing, when you actually think about it.”
— Sarah Dessen, Just Listen
the goal is to recycle pain into love. to translate pain into tenderness. to use pain to build instead of to destroy.
“People need to be encouraged. People need to be reminded of how wonderful they are. People need to be believed in - told that they are brave and smart and capable of accomplishing all the dreams they dream, and more. Remind each other of this.”
— Stacey Jean Speer
I want to give you a smile that fills your heart with light, I want to give you a hug and with it, all my love.
I want you to look me in the eyes and in them you also look at yourself; Mom, you are so important to me that the world sometimes is you and me.
“Say it before you run out of time. Say it before it’s too late. Say what you’re feeling. Waiting is a mistake.”
