Want kids: they hate me, i hate them.. unless they like me, then i treat them like i treat the rest of my friends and they’re fine.. i guess if they’re mine then they would be used to that.. so sure..i am most interested in what my face would look like mixed with someone else’s…

Want to get married: i don’t care.. the ceremony isn’t important, finding the right person is.. i can’t just say ‘yeah okay i wanna get married’ when i have no vision into my future of who i will love (or if i won’t at all)

Career: something that pays just enough for me to be at least mildy comfortable with my life and that gives me enough time to actually live it and contemplate and learn and grow as a human being.. also i want to dominate in that job, having the hundreds of people below me respect me and know not to mess with me

Lips or Eyes: eyes i guess? lips are just wrinkly gross little skin flaps and eyes are veiny colored orbs… the science behind the eyes is much much more fascinating, though, so those… cones and rods… sexyyyy

Hugs or kisses: i don’t like either.. hugs i guess when it’s below freezing, so i can extract the other person’s warmth and they won’t know that’s my only motivation

Dan feels that Imagine Dragons’ new material shows that “we have a lot of growth as songwriters.” As for whether or not the band’s newfound success has changed their approach, Dan says he still feels that the best songs are born from trying experiences.

Dan has hinted in the past that some of the things the band has been going through recently - like trying to adjust to their sudden fame and insane schedule - may find their way into the new music. Back in May, he told reporters that all the “crazy changes” the band has experienced “has been kind of entwining into the album, and so it has a lot of emotion… the highs and lows that come with that.”
