Miyazaki teaches us that learning is a lifelong metamorphosis; a continuous act of trying, failing, growing, becoming, and searching for moving castles.
Ollin, Señor de Oros & Tlalt, Señora de las Flores.
Soooo, if anyone’s followed me long enough, they know I made some headcanon designs for the parents of La Muerte and La Noche based off Kate del Castillo’s actual parents (Eric del Castillo and Kate Trillo.) a while ago, which I ended up leaving aside for reasons. Well, seeing as how I have the Gutierrez/Equihua!verse brainrot again, I figured, why not?
Tata Ollin, God of Time. Made of star dust. Strict but loving parent. While he cares for living things from a distance, he isn’t specially affectionate to anything but his daughters and wife. He guards the logic of time and space, and had a big role in defining the Ancient Rules by which Gods have to abide (As this order of the Universe IS the reason said rules exist.)
Nana Tlalt, Goddess of Earth. Made of red soil. Very maternal, lowkey spoils the kids. She loves all the living things, as they’re technically all her children and that leaves her actual flesh and blood daughters feeling a bit anxious as to where they stand in her priorities and affections. She guards the cycles of life, death and rebirth. The ponds around the world are her ‘Eyes’ with which she guards all living creatures from anything that reaps their lives before it’s time.
Both gods, together, were the original rulers of the Lands of the Death that they ended inheriting to their kids and some other deities after dividing them.

Now, here comes the full story:
The first clue we get at Zatz' origins is the moment we see the real appearance of Colmillo (Fang? I didn't watch the english version, so...I don't know what names are translated or not)
Why should a bat prince have a puma as a Battle Cat? Well, that's what I call "foreshadowing".
The episode that follows is "The Bat and the Owl" where we get a look at Baby Zatz, Camazotz and Zyanya and how everything fell into place.
Even though we got no real context on how or why Mictlan was there, we could assume it was his reaction to the first demigod born out of one of his gods. That would explain why Camazotz was hurt so badly, Mictlan was hunting his family.
Either way, we have no clue where they were or what side was Zyanya on until she runs back to face Mictlan, buying Camazotz enough time to escape.
Does that mantra sound familiar? It should! She was a Puma from the Golden Mountains! The bracelet she left Zatz is the last proof of it!
Zatz has been with the gods for so long that he didn't even fathom the thought of him being part of the profecy!
When Pichu dies, everyone thinks the profecy is ruined because the team is incomplete, when that's a lie! Zatz is the Puma Warrior, not only because he goes after the barbarians and brings them to Teca, but from who was his mother, HIS BLOODLINE! HE IS A PUMA! THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS HIS UPBRINGING!
From Colmillo, to his bracelet and his mother, Zatz was always meant to be part of the profecy!
Tonight, I will make you mine I will make you mine I will make you mine If you let me, if you let me

I wanted to show my support for the Asian-American community right now, as we’re all facing hatred in America and feel unsafe and unwelcome. I hope that by buying a sticker, shirt, bag, etc, we can spread the message of support for the Asian American community.
Stop AAPI Hate. Use this design to show you support the Asian American community, and please support Asian & Asian-American owned small businesses and shops, like my own.
Haven't had time to draw for myself in a while. Made an effort to do something this weekend.
Another day saved, no need to thank them
Part 1 of my released production artwork from Wizards. Being the art director on this project taught me so much and it’s an experience I will be forever grateful to have. This project was a monster and every single person worked tirelessly to make it what it is.
