New books out in the Threadcaster universe!

Linecaster is a middlegrade adventure about Cat and Peter before they leave on their adventure. Their small town of Mason Forge is facing a water issue and the superstitious members of town blame Peter's curse for the misfortune. Cat can't sit idly by and watch her best friend get punished for something that isn't his fault, so she dedicates herself to learning new magic and solve the mystery of what's really happening to the water pump.

Joshua the Magic Boy is a beginner-reader book for elementary school kids just learning to read chapter books, but now it's also a Picture Book with 24 full-color illustrations telling the same story. When your young reader is ready to move up to the next reading level, they can get a copy of the story as a beginning reader as well OR continue Joshua's adventure on to Joshua and the Magic Day!

I’m pleased to announce that Shapecaster is officially online! This 12 chapter book for elementary school readers is about Cat, a normal girl who has been plagued with some pesky shapes floating in her head. The shapes are a mystery, but when her dear friend Peter is diagnosed with a horrible illness, the shapes might be the thing that prevents him from being exiled! Accompanying the story is a step-by-step guide for playing two different Cat’s Cradle games!

Wow! Look what I found from my locker at school! To prove how old it is, you’ll see me being a tiny wind curse, along with Nell [deleted, I believe] and Joshua is labeled as “Bastian.” It’s really pretty and an awesome cast picture ;)

I remember drawing this thing! Look at that… Nell, it’s been so long. It’s good to know her ghost survives.

Check out this ancient artwork I found in my archives! Nell is present, as is Bastian and a Wind Curse named Romney who /kind of/ became Michael? Whose place was taken by Michael, that’s more accurate.

Keep an eye out for Shapecaster! It’s a canon addition to the story focusing on Cat and Peter as young children. It along with Joshua and Calligrapher are part of my 2019 “Incorporate All Ages” project in which I make Threadcaster content for every reading level within Children’s literature to experiment at which age level I like writing for the best, and to have a book for any reader at any level!
