What do the ratings mean?
We've only used ratings provided by the websites the stories are posted on. I'm not sure of the specifics of each rating, but generally PG, K, T etc are all quite low. K, I believe, is Kid friendly, so it's alright if a child reads it. T is directed to a Teenage audience. PG would be Parental Guidance, so basically if you're under 10 or so you probably shouldn't read it. Then we have M, for Mature, which often features non-graphic violence and varying levels of sex. NC-17, I have absolutely no idea what it stands for as it is an American rating and I'm Australian, but generally means older than 17yo, and has lots of sex. The rating R is similar, and basically means that within is graphic violence or sex or adult themes etc.
Hope this helps!
