2020 event canceled

It’s taken me long enough, but I’ve got to bite the bullet and go ahead to say Kingsman Secret Santa/Stocking Stuffers 2020 isn’t going to happen :(

Realistically speaking, I just don’t have the time. 

I know there are people who’re talking about organizing a similar event so, YES, please do! 

To everyone who was looking forward to this: I’m sincerely sorry! The prompts for the previous years are still accessible, so if you were so inclined you could pick a person and make something.

The event may return next year; I’m wary of promising it, but it’s not immediately gone forever.

Again, apologies, and I hope you guys have good, safe Holidays ♥

Will there be a Secret Santa this year?

Hi! So sorry for leaving this for so long, but the truth is, I still don’t know :o 

If it IS going to happen, it won’t be exactly the format we had previously.

Previous years were amazing, but we all noticed the participation has dropped off quite a bit. Coupled with how it is basically a free for all gift-fest, we saw that more and more, it tended to skew towards a handful of people getting a whole lot of gifts, while others didn’t get any. Mod and volunteers tried very hard to get those people at least one gift as well and I think we succeeded quite well in that.

But this year mod is super busy and won’t be able to be on it as much as last time.

So, we’re brainstorming to see if there’s a way to keep the ‘less/no pressure’ characteristics while still imposing some rules (like, everyone is assigned one person to make a tiny gift for, and is free to make as many as they want next to that, although that will need some manual matching which is, again, time consuming)

If you guys have any ideas or comments, or a yay/nay regarding the event in its entirety, please do not hesitate to let us know! ♥

Hi guys!

A gentle reminder that posting will (re)start on the 14th of February! If you didn't manage to finish a gift for the Holiday round, this Valentine's Day round is the time to post it! Created something new? Seize the day ♡ Or days, actually, because posting will remain open for a week, or till everything has been posted.

What next?

The 14th of January, posting closes. …but only for a little while! 

The mod has been AWOL for a little bit while they dove into the craziness that is moving house. Almost there, but not yet entirely :o This is only relevant because it’s completely slipped the mind to say that prompts are once again open! They will stay open till February 2nd.
