instead of watching your normal youtube video, netflix show or reading your current book, let’s take that time instead to educate and inform ourselves more on the history of this movement and the importance of it to this day. i’ll continue posting more sources and information on blm and racism on my story but i’ll also compile a list of shows (bc i know all of you have netflix) at the end of this caption with suggestions made by black people that i’ve seen.

be aware and be actively anti-racist. don’t close your eyes and don’t wait for someone to explain this stuff to you. being silent means being complicit. speak up and talk to your friend, your family, your followers. call out racist behavior when you see it. use your privileges. and keep learning.
