Yet he also sensed a bit of the danger this creature possessed, so he decided to answer the beast’s questions. “I may provide the answers you seek, but I have to ask, why a creator of light, the very things we hate, would be interested in things that, to the main inhabitants of this realm, would much rather prefer to stay in the dark?” He asks while licking his maw, salivating his teeth for any potential meals that may pass through during their conversation. Although compared to Vel’Koz he was primitive in terms of knowledge, but still had greater understandings of the way things were after being in Runeterra for so long.

Quite an impressive maw, indeed.” He would go on to compliment the large fish, trying to get on its good side, just to scope out what else this world had to offer him. 

Tahm scowled immediately frowning darkly.

“Well. In that case, I must simply express my most hearty dislike.” he replied abruptly. “I ain’t supportin’ the Void and I most certainly ain’t one to like it.”

He sniffed, looking Cho’Gath up and down.  “So what does a Voidborn want, anyhows? Colour me slightly suspicious- I should like to know before I leave y’all to end up doin’ untold damage.”

"The Void and you are one in the same, Kench! We just want to eat and eat and eat.. Save for that Seeker." Cho'Gath grumbled, referring to a more recent visitor of Runeterra. He didn't like creatures, especially Voidborn, to be more intelligent than himself.
