“Susan? What…. How?” Eleven asked her/
"Hm? How what?" Susan questioned, turning her attention to him, lowering the volume of the music slightly.

Pity. Would have given me an opportunity to squash misinformation.
You can easily do that enough with textbooks; they're filled with misinformation.
How could you, Susan?

{☂}—; “Yes but what if I could control their taste buds? And make it so that I am unable to taste appealing to them? Be a rather interesting power to have over ones taste buds do you not think so?” He asked the girl with an amused smile upon his face.
"Yes…I suppose you don’t. Been quite a long time. Look the same as the day you left…" He muttered with a hint of sadness in his voice. "But since you’ve asked just so nicely I will tell you. I am the Doctor. But perhaps not the one you’ve remembered in your day."
"You might over-do it, though." Susan liked the idea; it seemed interesting and unique, in a way. "But suppose the creatures enjoy unappealing things? What then?"
She gazed at him and when his name came up, her eyes widened in surprise. "Grandfather?" She hadn't expected to meet him, especially looking like..this. "I..Certainly not, I could hardly recognize you." A light laugh, nearly sheepish, left her. "Oh, grandfather!"

The teenage strummed her fingers to the beat of a Beatles’ song that was blasting out from her mobile device. Most of her attention was on the music that she didn’t notice much else - meaning the sound of the door opening and the possible sound of feet.
"Uhh… hi," said the Explorer. He waved his hand, trying to get her attention. "Sorry, but I’m a bit lost. I sort of popped in here. Where, um, where is this exactly? My name’s the Explorer, by the way."
It took a few moments to realize someone was in the room and was trying to speak to her. With a slightly embarrassed smile she turned the volume down halfway and focused on him.
"Sort of..popped in here?" Susan echoed with a small laugh, knowing how that was. "You're at school, for one thing. Coal Hill, to be exact," she informed him." Curiosity appeared in her eyes at his name. "I'm Susan."

{☂}—; “It bit me! Why is it things are always biting me!”
"Perhaps they must have thought you’d taste good," Susan replied with an amused smile, and quickly sobered up. "Oh, but are you alright?"
{☂}—; “Yes I suppose they do think I’m rather tasty to them. But on the contrary I could of tasted horrid to them. It’s like trying to see what you taste like. You either like the taste or you think it’s the most disgusting thing you’ve ever encountered in your life. Minus if you’re bleeding then you need to preserve every ounce of water your body tries to lose.” He ranted slightly. Turning around he did a double take. “Say don’t I know you from somewhere? No..utterly impossible! Sorry you just look like someone I used to know.”
She slowly nodded. "Right. But what if you taste horrible to yourself, but pleasing to another?" The brunette asked with curiosity, wondering if he'd know.
"I..I don't know. I don't recall seeing your face before," she answered, unsure. "Perhaps I would if I knew your name." There was something mildly familiar about him but she couldn't place how.
" Susan! It's so very good to see you!"
"Barbara! Boy, am I glad to see you." The teen smiled at her friend.
"And you, Susan," Barbara grinned back and embraced the young woman in a warm hug.
Susan eagerly returned the embrace. "I've missed you. How are things with you and Ian?"

"Again?"
Susan turned to face the man with curiosity.
" - I don't think we've met before.."
"I…you seem a bit displaced, my dear. Do you happen to know a man called the Doctor?"
She turned her attention to the other. "Hm? I'm sorry - " Her eyes widened in mild surprise. "Yes. Do you know grandfather?"

There’s no way I can save her now… It’s just that she’s always been there for me, taken care of me, and now it’s my turn and I don’t know what to do and it - it - it - it just -

"Grandfather!"
"S…Susan?…What…what are you doing here, child?! "
"I..I came to see you!" She responded light-heartedly, but her mood dropped slightly; a frown appeared on her face. "You sound like I'm not supposed to be here."

"I'd like to think that," Susan answered.
