Hey, so I’m sorry there hasn’t been much posting lately, honestly it’s been a little stressful and unmotivated for the past few days. However to make it A LITTLE MORE STRESSFUL, I just found out my EI ran out at the end of April.
For those that don’t know, EI is employment insurance, because my work often runs on fairly short contracts, so after my contracts end I go on EI and look for another job.
OVER 7 MONTHS LATER, I am still looking for work. I don’t know what happened but the job industry has not been on my side at all these past few months. I’ve only managed to get one call back and an interview but no word on whether I actually got the job or not. I’m still applying for whatever I can but it’s really not looking good. At this rate I’m going to be looking for work outside of my field which BLOWS but if it’s the only option I have then well, I don’t really have a choice, do I? Because I would really like to not fly back to Ontario and stay with my parents again.
