I met a new boy. He kisses me like it's his job. He tells me sweet things and he is such a babe. 💚

Starting over at 32 after a 13 year long relationship has been fucking terrible. But he is making me realize things might be ok. Life has been unbearable. I had to endure a lot of disrespect and I validated the things that were done to me by assuming I had no right to feel or I had no right to say because it was my ex. Maybw i wasnt always cheerful but I worked my ass of to take care of us. To be left, without warning, without even trying to fix what I didnt know was broken almost killed me. Happiness doesnt depend on a significant other but sometimes the distraction is what you need to realize you deserve better than what was done to you.

And then he stood me up and ghosted me. After a full month of talking constantly just ghosted without a word. Dating is fucking terrible.
