I wish with every fiber of my being that I could, believe me.
Well you could, but you’d end up lonely. -And probably cry.-
@theymockme
I love how you never knock, and simply make yourself at home.
Well I mean you kinda do the same sans for the not knocking. Also you’ve never thrown me out yet, so~

True, but I thought I best ask anyway~
… Ever the romantic.
Says you.
That’s fine, though I wonder why tomorrow specifically. You’re more one for spontaneity.
Because it’s too late to go now and I already booked the table for tomorrow.
So I was thinking we could go out tomorrow night?
Yeah, but have you done your homework?
Did you finish cleaning the bathroom?

I drew this at 4am and at that moment in time it was the funniest thing in the world.
Simon’s always been rough around the edges in a similar way Miles was, however he was abrasive in ways he was not, and so he could sympathize with with Trucy’s frustration. Instead of adding fuel to her fire he simply nodded in sympathy until Phoenix’s words brought things to a head and his demeanor changed into something a little more serious.
His eyes sort of wandered over to the other man as he spoke, trying to gauge as to whether he should say something to add or do something or… anything. Some sort of visual cue. But, he got none and so let him do all the talking. He could see how uncomfortable Phoenix was about it, however Miles was not the best at these sorts of things either, so he wasn’t sure that anything he’d say would help him or just make it worse.
Instead of saying anything he simply reached over and put his hand on his at an attempt to ease him a bit before looking at Trucy.
hmmm… so maybe this was why something felt different. the magician watched, her eyes far more on the observant side than usually. you could TELL she was watching their movements carefully now. trucy listen to phoenix without changing facial expression that much. she just simply nodded at first, trying to process what he was telling her. it was slightly OBVIOUS but trucy wasn’t sure if she should say that to the two of them.
“ hmmm…. okay! so you and uncle edgeworth are more like a THING now? i can see that, it wasn’t that hard to figure out. ” she took her fork, playing with he food a little, eyes were still on the other two. it was obvious phoenix was very uncomfortable and edgeworth was just trying to help him out without saying anything… was this really the appropriate way to respond to all this? or should she reconsider her choices.
“ whatever makes daddy happy! doesn’t matter much to me, besides uncle edgeworth is a cool guy! as much as he’s a nerd sometimes too.”
Miles’ silence doesn’t really bother him, primarily because there’s just not all that much for him to add. He leaves him to his silence then, waiting instead for Trucy to make of it as she would. Which when she did lead to an indignant noise from him, because yeah he could see why it might be a touch obvious but there was no need to be so tactless about it.
Still, mostly he’s just happy she actually seemed ok with it. He just laughed at at her comment, because yeah Miles was totally a nerd when the mood stuck him even if he vehemently tried to deny it over and over. “Yeah, I guess he is~” He says, not specifying whether he’s talking about the cool or nerd comment. In reality it’s probably both.
