Most successful tumlbr photo to date.  Backstory: after 2 days driving the White Rim Trail (100 mile 4x4 backcountry trail through Canyonlands National Park), we settled into our last camp.  Priority number 1 was to make a drink and explore our surroundings for the last night on the trail.  After pouring a whiskey we hiked down to the shores of the Green River where we watched the sun begin to set.  With the light of dawn we made our way back to the Land Cruiser and built a fire, setting up our kitchen and making our bed pictured above.  That night we sat around a campfire laughing, eating flank steak and wishing we had 100 more miles of back country travel to go.  Still one of the most beautiful trips I’ve ever done and will do again every couple of years to come.
