Working with Katsuragi had come to be a pleasant experience, as far as working in media could go. He had been truthful at least with the opportunities that his company could provide for Goro, but he was still as nonchalant about his motivations as ever. Akechi could appreciate that, of course. There was intrigue to people who could wear their wants on their sleeves, not hiding away their desires.

They were out having lunch, a commemoration for their most recent deal proving to be a success when Katsuragi had requested for a photo to be taken of the two of them. (Perhaps the selfie he'd sought out on their very first meeting hadn't been as much of a ploy as Goro had originally assumed.) A bystander had noticed the two men fidgeting with propping a cellphone up on a ledge and had offered to simply take the photograph for them.

It should have been simple enough, and it was, although Goro was acutely aware of the hand that had settled around his waist, tugging him closer to Katsuragi. The bystander had given the cellphone back to them, commenting on how they made a cute couple. Akechi had wondered how they'd even gotten the idea until his gaze fell onto the photograph. "You can't post this," he stated, offering the phone back to Katsuragi for him to view the photo.

They did look like a couple, with the way their bodies had molded to one another for the photograph. There was nothing particularly businesslike about it. "We'll have to take another one."
