I fucking hate the saying "I'm not your friend, I'm your mom." You constantly define our relationship as a friendship: "I'm here for you", "I support you", "I love you." But the moment something I'm going through inconveniences your ideology we aren't friends? The moment I become my own person it becomes such a political attack on your beliefs you can't fathom to give me an inch of respect even if I just listened to 20 minutes of you ranting about how much I hurt you by just existing. Thanks mom, love you too.
