Mick Fanning lives up to his name as a super Badass survivor of a near death experience. He was on death row in a high-kill Alabama shelter and made it out alive pretty narrowly - but like a boss! At around 1.5 years old and 55 pounds, he's got a heart of gold to go with his million dollar grin. Mick's got plenty of mates amongst his fellow canines and his NYC foster mom says that he's doing great. She says that "Mick, aka White Lightening, is lounging in all the right places and chewing on all the right things." He's still a little dubious about trucks and is taking things slow with strangers, but he warms up beautifully. He's a cool guy hoping to be some Badass human's very best bud. THANK YOU THURSDAY goes out to Badass alumna Alabama's (fka Betsey Johnson) super Badass family for giving back to rescue. Alabama's mom is the mega talented recording artist Madison and got inspired by the adopted pooch she calls "the light of our life, the joy of our existence. Alabama has changed my life." Quentin Tarantino is an approximately 11 month old mix who got our attention with Kill-Shelter Dogs, a gripping tale rife with violence. Canine Quentin closed that chapter by narrowly escaping an unnecessary death sentence down South. He's now ready to make his mark on the Big Apple as a Badass. He weighs around 25 pounds of total mush. He loves his people and has the energy to be up for anything you choose. Quenting gets along famously with other dogs and is taking well to training. Ellen Page is an approximately 4 year old muttigree lady who weighs just under 30 pounds. She gets along with other dogs and is adored by all lucky enough to spend time with her Badass. She narrowly escaped euthanasia in Alabama and underwent heartworm treatment down South. She's ready to find a family and move on to a charmed, Badass life! Named by superfans and Badass supporters, Lisa Goldschmidt and Luke Burrows, DeMarcus is indeed an energetic baller who's quite the scene stealer. He's smart and talented and trainable according to his foster people and has a blast with other dogs. He weighs around 50 pounds and is good with kids! Double the Badass, double the cute! Mom adopted Bessie (fka Natalie Portman, left) as her first dog a few months ago and simply could not resist her doppelganger, Jane Foster. She'd signed up to foster but declared a change in intentions the moment they met. ADOPTED! We approve. The only thing better than a Badass dog is two!

Sometimes very fast "failures" are the best thing for everyone! Jonah Peretti got picked up by his Badass foster family within hours of arriving in NYC and it was pretty clear right then that he wouldn't be going anywhere else. This one was for keeps. ADOPTED and living blissfully in New Jersey!
