Another guest announcement! Colleen O’Shaughnessey

Colleen O’Shaughnessey grew up in Troy, MI. From a very young age, she was fascinated with animation. She never missed Saturday morning cartoons, “The Muppet Show”, or the “Wonderful World of Disney” and often found herself giving “voices” to animals or babies. At age 12 she began performing in musical theatre productions and continued throughout high school. After a few seasons of summer stock and earning her B.F.A. degree in musical theatre from the University of Michigan, she headed to Los Angeles to pursue a career in voice over.

Colleen’s first, official voice over job was a Reporter Barbie book as the voice of Skipper. Shortly after Barbie, she booked her first animated series, “The Kids from Room 402”, followed by “Digimon” where she voiced the role of Sora. She continues to work in the industry voicing cartoon characters, commercials and video games, such as Wildstar, Hitman 5 & 6, Dishonored, Guild Wars 2, Tales of Symphonia, Metal Gear Solid IV, Final Fantasy XIII & XIII-2, Rogue Galaxy, and Alpha Protocol. Some of her favorite roles include Wasp on “Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes”, Pickles on “Doc McStuffins”, Jazz on “Danny Phantom”, Jodi on “The Life & Times of Juniper Lee”, Suzy on “Zatch Bell”, Yoshi on “Digimon Data Squad”, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck in “Bleach”, and Ino and Konohamaru on “Naruto”. Colleen is very excited to be working on a brand new series “Sonic Boom”, playing the part of Tails. She can also be heard in the following features “Cars”, “Toy Story 3”, “Horton Hears a Who”, “Monsters University” & the mom in “Monsters University, Party Central short”, “Spirited Away”, “Ponyo” and Jono in “Axel: The Biggest Little Hero”.

Colleen currently resides in Los Angeles where she is the proud mama of two amazing kids who keep her laughing and singing, and give her lots of material for new characters on a daily basis.

Come see her and several other special guests February 9th-11th for AlmaCon2018. See our full guest lineup at http://almacon.weebly.com
