Everyone Has A Dark Side

@morganlefayinchains / morganlefayinchains.tumblr.com

I think the healthy way to live is to make friends with the beast inside oneself, and that means not the beast but the shadow. The dark side of one's nature. Have fun with it and you know, is to accept everything about ourselves. -- Anthony Hopkins

These are $30 for one but stitches at the hospital are more expensive so this is pretty damn great

So what you’re saying is that someone in the free market has responded to high costs by developing a new product that is far less expensive, and can be applied by the injured person themselves not just a doctor or nurse.

This is neat AF

Its an advanced butterfly bandaid.

This isn’t ‘Neat’ this is horrifying. America is in shambles.

‘Oh drat! I’ve been stabbed and I can’t afford to go to hospital. Good thing I’ve brought my emergency DIY stitches.’

America… your health care system is fucked up. You know that, right?

Yes we know thank you

never gonna get over the cycle of

product invented -> problem with capitalist hellscape mildly circumvented -> americans celebrate because its incredibly good that this product exists -> non-americans telling us we’re dumbasses for? being happy theres a tiny little workaround for our shitty system? acting like we’re stupid for looking forward to a product that fixes an 800 dollar problem for a fraction of the cost?

extremely cool and sexy of you all to uhh *spins wheel* mock the citizens of a dystopian nightmare for *throws dart* being excited about the prospect of having one less thing to suffer for.

Okay like I know y'all are like “fuck capitalism” and I’m right there with ya, but this is amazing for emergency aid in extreme environments as well.

Patricia Cronin, Memorial to a Marriage, carrara marble (installed at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY), 2002

In Memorial to a Marriage, Patricia Cronin disrupts the cemetery. Installed ‘for eternity’ in New York’s necropolis, Cronin and her partner lie entwined upon a modern mattress among the memorials to the partners in and products of state sanctioned heterosexuality. By taking anticipatory revenge, Cronin out-manouevres the reality that she and her partner, Deborah Kass, could not be recognized as a family in the eyes of the American state at the time the work was made. “If I can’t have it in life,” says Cronin, “I’m going to have it in death.”

It’s pretty telling that Republicans are opposed to this and call it a power grab by Democrats. Mitch McConnell basically admitted that they can’t win elections without cheating.

“A power grab”

Ah yes, such a sinister “power grab” move to let MORE people of voting age to be able to vote

I mean what do the Democrats think this is?

A DEMOCRACY or something?

How DARE they try and make it easier for people who aren’t middle-to-upper-class straight cis white males to vote in elections?

I can’t even pretend to be shocked that Republicans are voicing this opinion when you consider that the Republican cult I mean um…”Party”…is a group of “People” that is made up of neo-nazis, rapists, “people” who think dinosaur bones were put in the ground by the Devil, “people” who think climate change was made up by the Chinese and meth-addled pedophiles who think that abolishing slavery was a bad idea

When you come from a background of abuse and/or toxic ‘love’ it’s important to realize that your sense of what is normal has been distorted. Being loved and cared for may feel strange and uncomfortable, and as crazy as it sounds, you may be tempted to run back to the familiar predictable misery of a toxic relationship. Don’t run. Give yourself time to adjust to a healthy relationship. Allow your sense of what is normal to be recalibrated. You will adjust, I promise.

Since I hit my latest goal on patreon, I can now post longer comics on Saturdays. When I reach my next goal, I can add even more things to the project. If you want to help, you can pledge for just 1$ here, and in exchange, you’ll get access to a completely different project where I attempt to create the coziest/warmest art collection on the internet.

i love her

Remember, Debbie Reynolds was so much more than just Carrie’s mom. She was a beautiful, amazing, wickedly funny woman in her own right. She loved her daughter and she made her daughter who she was, but it is a disservice to her memory to shrink her down to just being Carrie’s mom.

Also, because it needs to be said, Debbie was a huge supporter of the mentally ill. She helped found The Thalians, a mental health charity in 1955 and served as chairwoman for the organization for fifty-six years. She was an amazing woman and will be missed.

AND she is the top witch bitch from Halloween Town and needs her good name spread during HER holiday.
