Sitting in the library...

Where did January go?

Yeah uh, this month just flew by.. So much has happened, and it’s been a blessing of a month! I finally found a job after I had to leave my last job last summer. After getting rejected and waitlisted at a couple schools, I was accepted into Saint George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. Some people have left my life, but at the same time amazing people have either entered or have remained strong and true in my life. So much has happened in 2016, in just one month, and I am very excited to see what else this year has in store for me. I’m beyond ready to go full force into this adventure and document it all here so I can look back on this amazing year. :)

I hope you continue to ride along this journey with me.

100 days of productivity

hey guys! some of you may have noticed that lately I have been posting daily pictures with a concept called 100 days of productivity. at first, this was just a method I was using to keep myself on track, but after receiving multiple messages either asking permission to use the idea or asking to explain the idea, I’ve decided to make a post to explain this and hopefully get other blogs in on it!

what is it about?

the general idea of 100 days of productivity is to make sure that everyday you do something- anything productive. it embraces the concept that by chipping away at least a little bit of that big pile of work we all have every day, we can make huge changes for the future.

how can I join?

its simple! just post a picture everyday with which day it is out of 100 (ex: 3/100 days of productivity) and tag it as 100 days of productivity. keep this going for 100 days straight and see how much you’ve accomplished!!

First Day Off in a Week...

Yep, heard that right. I’ve been working so much, but it feels good to have a job again! I started working at Dunkin last week and I really enjoy it (obvi, i’m a coffee addict). I have also been spending a lot of time with the animal rescue I volunteer with so I’ve definitely been keeping myself busy! So busy in fact that I’ve actually been taking naps every day, which I’m not complaining about at all! 

I’m still waiting on vet schools though... at least my jobs are keeping my mind preoccupied. There’s nothing really I can do now, just play the waiting game. I know wherever I go is where God wants me, so I’m trying to stay positive and keep my trust in that. And for the most part, it works. Sometimes the nerves get to me though.. But still remaining positive :)
