this is a lowkey indefinite hiatus notice, because the more I re-read these comics the more I understand that the world & the characters are incredibly underdeveloped and I most definitely cannot work with that.
Hello darlings, when i woke up this morning to this, i was a little shocked if i’m honest!!. When i first started writing Tony. i had only seen the first iron man film, in fact it started of as a whim, as you know, i like to test muses out * bangs head on desk because of the countless blogs ive had*. But Tony really stuck with me, this fandom has been absolutely great and so welcoming! i have met some truly wonderful people on this journey and i honestly can’t imagine ever leaving this blog. I fell in love with the iron man films and i fell in love with Tony Stark too. It has been so incredible to get to know you all so i thought i would do this list and show my appreciation.<3

“It is…” She said. She remembered the first days, it was so difficult with the lack of experience. And the times they lost were the worst.
“It’s… far away from here. Yes.” She didn’t want to give away to much information.
A slight tilt of her head. “Journey must have been long, then, and on those wings? Lady, you have to be in for some back pain right now.” Last time she had a halfway painful injury, she spent some hours talking to a costumed pig. Who knows what happened to fully magical beings? “Got any place to stay?”

Some people are just born to fight, I think. It’s not that they’re born brave. It’s not that they’re born strong. It’s just that the universe has decided that this one, this one will have grit and fire and steel in their blood. And it’ll be tested, this cosmic mettle of theirs. They’ll face trial after trial, be broken and damaged in countless ways. But this one was born to fight. Maybe it’s not the life they would have chosen. Maybe they’d love to lay down their arms. But they were born to fight. It’s what they know. It’s what they do best. It’s all they can do.
okay but what in the world? ( prepare yourself for the long-ass speech i’m about to go into ). this speech is well deserved because on a whim did i decide to watch the flash ( i will admit that i was mostly interested because of grant gustin ) and boy am i glad i started it. this show has been an emotional roller-coaster - i’ve loved every single second of it. then i thought about making a barry - and i was nervous, what with my tony muse started to flake out on me and i wasn’t totally sure about joining a new fandom because i didn’t want to put the effort in for the blog to die out a few days later.
turns out that i HEAVILY underestimated the dc fandom. it’s definitely one of the best fandom’s that i’ve been in. you guys welcomed me in with open arms, made me feel important and overall loved. the fact that other barry’s were willing and wanting to RP with me ( twin verses ftw ) was incredible. there’s no rivalry, there’s no hatred towards other characters and it’s a very peaceful and calm place to be.
less than four weeks in and here i am. shocked, in awe and gobsmacked that over 250 of you want to roleplay with me, deemed me worthy enough to press that follow button and have stuck by me. this is basically my way of saying that if you follow me ( or not; this is a general message to anyone who might see this ), i love you. i appreciate you. your existence is something that we all cherish. i’m so happy to have so many people express their wanting to be around me and i just ?? i’m v. v. emotional about this okay.
i know that i might have missed a few people and i’m sorry for the people that i did forget to put here but it doesn’t mean i loe you guys any less.

▐▐ Sapphire hues roll at the blondes response, frame leaning back against an adjacent counter a good few feet away. She says it won’t blow up but somehow that only assures her of the fact that it will. At her request of longer tongs, though, she proceeds to (rather obediently for someone whom doesn’t want to risk fireworks) glance around, locating a decent pair and plucking them off the counter top. With an easy flick of the wrist the tools are tossed in Gwen’s direction.
❝… So,❞ she begins softly, crossing bored arms over her chest while eyeing the bubbling chemicals cautiously. ❝What’s the intended reaction, anyways?❞
Gwen manages to catch them just before they slam into her face, blinking rapidly. “I don’t know,” she admits, lowering the tool on the counter. “I wasn’t paying attention. Reading the next pages seemed more interesting.” She at least tries to appear embarrassed. Admittedly, she should’ve put more effort in listening to the instructions. Winging it isn’t her thing; winging chemical reactions is not something she wants to try at all.
She gestures to the tongs with one hand, holds up one of the clearest liquids with the other, almost an offer. “Really, I want these so my hands can be as far away from the vials as they can. If you’d like to try, though, be my guest.” The teacher probably wants the tamest of the possible results, and it should not, in general, be hard, only the material advances on in a pace she doesn’t care to follow.

At the first answer Will couldn’t help but chuckle. She imagined it wasn’t true but it was inevitable, the though made her chuckle.
“I understand. I… actually do the same in my city, the patrolling and stuff.” She said.
“Tough job, isn’t it?” She was only half joking-- while it was child’s play sometimes, she still felt the urge to punch walls in frustration in others. Being ‘heroic’ apparently didn’t come with inherent victories, these days.
“Where’s your city?”
