Attire ☤ For Coppercoded

Joy may have been naive and rather stubbornly close minded, she had always thought of herself savvy enough around one element about people; that being reading into what their occupation was. So many faces came through her doors, over time it became easier to guess what they spent the majority from their time doing. Though she wasn’t always right, much to her dismay, the nurse’s guessing record had been solid most of the time.

However, in this moment she was rather bemused this time. Her current target was a blonde youth who clothing looked almost a uniform of sort from the gloves to the padded shoulders. Yet she couldn’t recall any job that would require such a formal attire in the color of grey. Finally done with her fruitlessly wondering, the older woman went up to the girl in the quest of knowledge. “Excuse me but may I ask you a question?”

Lost Dog ☤ For Mega-Trainer-Zaffre

Rarely did she let her emotions stray her from her work but this time it literally was the cause; after all she did have to find that run away patient, a sick poochyeana to be exact. Hopefully before the dark type’s trainer would awake but at this point the Nurse couldn’t care less about that. Kalos wasn’t this pokemon’s natural environment and when said pokemon was sick already…Well it made her worried. Not to mention the amount of people and gangs this city had.

Idiot, idiot, idiot the woman berated herself as she checked an alleyway. This didn’t happen to her, this foolishness. It was apart of her job to predict the canine would escape at first chance at the idea of a shot. With a frustrated huff, she turned to the first passer by and asked with all the self control she could muster: “Excuse but have you seen a poochyena at all?”

Gravity ☤ For Nharmonia-Groupius

"Ah, I must apologize!" Joy stated as she looked to the puddle of black substance that was on the cafe floor. She dropped the coffee, and a very large amount one at that. One could blame this on fatigue after doing several hours of overtime, but still the nurse was rather frustrated herself. Holding a large cup of coffee was something she could do. Heck, its something she could excel at even.

Not only could she not perform this simple task but the fact that it effected somebody else just made it that much more putrid for the woman. The caffeinated liquid, thankfully somewhat warm and not hot, had splattered across her uniform and a youth’s clothing as well.

"I don’t even know where to start, my stars.." Grabbing from the cafe’s set of napkins she’d looked from the floor to the face of the youth, recognizing him as the ‘N’ she had met once before.

Skyline ☤ For Looking-Through-Time

It was summer but there was a bite of chill as she came through the pokecenter’s glass doors. Perhaps the night was not as chilled as her skin felt it was, bristled with goosebumps. It was probably due to spending the majority of her time in the temperature controlled poke center. “71 Fahrenheit.” The words she mumbled were said temperature, polled to be the most comfortable temperature among the public with varying opinions. However she felt her current mood most effected her temperature. The more she walked along the Lumoise streets, the more she felt this was confirmed.  By now she should have been warmer due to the movement but of course, feelings rarely played with the sensible rules of logic. Especially those of the somber range.

Usually such a dismal mood would be tossed at side but due to its root cause, the nurse felt as if she couldn’t exactly do that. It wasn’t right, as it deserved a few moments of acknowledgement. The woman eventually ceased her walking to lean upon an ebony railing to stare upon the sky line of the city around her next to a stranger.

Opinions ☤ For LoganpkmnAdventure

Confused and frustration, Joy glared at the clipboard in her hands in anger at the bureaucracy she was dragged into. Really, was poll taking apart of her job description? The subject of said poll was somewhat related to her field of occupations, the question being that if full restores should remain priced or be free to the public; it ran along the philosophical thought that a trainer’s most basic, yet one of the most significant duty was to oversee the health of their pokemon and though pokecenters were common enough in towns, but of in the wilderness? Joy really didn’t see much in a point of this question though truly, too irritated to honestly care. It was what it was. Her irritation was not helped any further by how many people had brushed her off once the word poll left her lips. Not wasting any more thoughts into politely drawing in people she simply stepped up to the back of a teenager, not caring if she starlted him or not, and sternly stated “Excuse me…”

Turned Around ☤ For Nativeofisolation

"Excuse me.." Joy was completely and utterly lost. The aged woman rarely found herself in this situation, being someone who had always put thought first before action. Of course, usually she wasn’t in this such an odd mood, the source of her distraction from her destination. Some would even described it as…giddy. It almost made her uncomfortable, the emotion and the small ways the feeling displayed itself; from the small skip in her step to the tune that she had been whistling before speaking. Really, the off-duty nurse felt she was too dignified and too old for such a flippant emotion. Yet it still persisted, its source from an incredible day’s worth of work. Even now she was planning some reward for herself. A restaurant of sorts perhaps? Maybe a stop at a book store? Well then again, before deciding where to go, she needed first to get directions to go back to town. "May I borrow a moment of your time?"

Requiring Assistance ☤ For Yellowtvf

There were somethings that Joy could never heal. She could spew all the diagnosises, all the probable causes of what was ailing the sicklings in her arms but just because she had the answer as to why changed nothing.  The woman knew what was supposed to alleviate their conditions but no matter how hard she tried those methods. - At least with the time given anyways - there was no avail. She had no other choice but to go to a professional. Outside the door of said professional, Joy lingered for a moment, feeling light headed. It was almost as if there was an internal corset, the laces being of stress and some serious guilt that tightened her rib cage, making her breath flakey. The nurse breathed deeply and let out a long sigh in an attempt to aleviate her stress. She genuinely felt awful; The woman was resposible for these things and she had failed. Pushing on the door of the flower shop with her elbow as her hands were oppouied with two dying potted orchids, Joy shook her head in disgust herself.

World domination Award?

Image

Out of all the things. This was ridiculous. Why did someone think she would dominate the world?! Only fools attempted such a silly task and she was no fool. At least not to herself anyways. Surely someone was going to get an earful for this.

Image

"...."

But. It was an award. It would be impolite to criticize it or reject it. It was one of the rudest things to do really, when surely someone else would have...appreciate such an award. To turn it down could be denying someone's

HOWEVER, it was World Domination Award. It would be putrid to accept it.

Oh, the dilemma.

“I can see you happy…

"…in the shadows I despise"

Avatar

He let out an amused breath. This nurse was truly a different kind of irritating. Optimistic and cheerful, a brand of which, he could never fully bring himself to hate. Though there was always something about it that made Giovanni feel that it was nothing more than a facade.

"Of course it doesn’t. I am a criminal after all. If I was seen in too good of a light, it would damage my reputation, and perhaps even lose the respect of those under me."

She pursed her lips in thought of his words, though carefully timing the amount of seconds went into such words; Joy had always thought those in the grips of power wouldn’t need such a reputation to steady their position. To reach it yes, but once at the position of power, didn’t their actions speak loud enough of reputation?

However she’d decided not to speak of these thoughts, as they were probably flawed as Joy had no experience in such a field and rather not her ignorance be showcased. Especially to this one; the nurse held the comfort that he’d probably meant no harm towards her in this moment, as she saw no gain for him to do so. However, that didn’t mean that the nurse wasn’t going to expose her nativity towards the history of Kanto and Johto.

"I do see the logic to that, I suppose. Though I do believe maunders do hold some power over the masses." A glimmer of loathing seemed to flicker on her face but only for a moment. "However, I do find those to be rather disgusting."
