My friend is hosting monthly art challenges, and this month’s prompt is “Cringey Self-Indulgence.” I knew immediately I had to draw my og anime husband of 20+ years.

I haven’t drawn him in almost a decade, not since I met Eric Vale (the Eng VA for Trunks) at a convention. I named this piece “Telling my supportive buff husband I got accepted to art school.” You’re welcome, younger me. 😎✨

All of my cursed bobas so far. I have one more series planned for sure. Maybe more depending on how I feel when the final three are completed. Who knows, maybe I'll make some blessed bobas to compliment these abominations.

Don't touch a butterfly's wings! You can actually see the wing scales rubbing off under the person's finger.

The hold depicted in this picture is a reasonable way to hold dragonflies. It's not like there are no insects you can hold this way. But definitely not butterflies!

OP is an entomologist. This is exactly how you should hold a butterfly, especially one this large. Losing some wing scales won't affect their ability to fly but getting stepped on sure will.

“Many people seem to think it foolish, even superstitious, to believe that the world could still change for the better. And it is true that in winter it is sometimes so bitingly cold that one is tempted to say, ‘What do I care if there is a summer; its warmth is no help to me now.’ Yes, evil often seems to surpass good. But then, in spite of us, and without our permission, there comes at last an end to the bitter frosts. One morning the wind turns, and there is a thaw. And so I must still have hope.”
