What happened to yours? I hear you cry at night; do you dream about them? I know this is why you wreck things, and push me. Our family is little now and we don’t have many toys, but if you want, you could be part of it. You could be our baby and we’d raise you to be good. Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind.

Everyone is egoic with certain parts of their life. We’re all very preoccupied with our own story. As we go through life and experience trauma, we build walls—defence mechanisms. And, eventually, you adopt them so deeply and they are activated on a daily basis. You start thinking that’s who you are. We are not our thoughts. We ought to realize that the things that go on in our brain is not our true identity. — Chris Evans on anxiety and depression

I’ve been lucky enough, well maybe unlucky enough, to have had a lot of friends who have had their ups and downs. And for an actor, that’s good. Life experience in any regard is good. So I’ve seen a lot and I’ve had my own experiences.
