'you know that kink is problematic right?' WHAT FUCKING PART OF BETWEEN CONSENTING ADULTS DO YOU NOT FUCKING UNDERSTAND

"but ageplay and incest are problematic!" okay. can you now please explain to me in detail with citations in APA format and a minimum of 1500 words why you're going after internet trans women who have been out for maybe a year or two and not, like, i don't know, pornhub or any other porn industry giant if you're so worried about people doing sex bad

a huge part of the reason people note that a lot of these callouts are blatantly anti-kink and anti-lgbt is because they target completely random minorities who have no actual record of abuse or doing harm much worse than "made me uncomfortable". People want to associate trans women with these kinks as a way of publicly shaming them, and making them a target of harassment. I don't want to talk to you about why you think rape in porn might be problematic because you are using it as a bullying tactic, you don't actually seem to care about the subject matter at all.

People forget fucking everything they know about punitive justice being bad literally du moment they hear about someone being into a kink they don't like.

i will repeat, for no reason in particular

taboo kinks are inexorably queer. as it stands, it is queer to grow up physically or sexually abused, to have your sexuality disorganized instead of understood and reinforced. it is queer to suppress your attraction to kids your age and instead develop a complex around your abusive parent that you feel weird about. it is queer to have notions of consent be corrupted by ritual shame and humiliation. we cannot all be perfect victims of cisheteronormative society, saying otherwise is placing your own feelings of disgust over reality.

yes, your post that validates the moral policing of kink is transmisogynistic. like how advocating for "tough on drug crime" legislation is racist. i know you didn't mention any trans women by name, but "drug crime" doesn't mention any black people either.

"i don't wanna police anyone's actions, i just think i should be ALLOWED to think you're disgusting." your personal relationships will forever be ones of deep and profound repression if you keep playing these fucking games

Shoutout to incredibly contrived set-ups for kink stories, I respect the grind so much. One time I was frolicking in a field of flowers and I found a fic whose summary started w 'IN A WORLD WHERE THE LOSING ATTORNEY HAS TO SUCK OFF THEIR OPPOSITION' and it's been stuck on my mind ever since

The Wend*go is Not Your Cryptid

I'm Algonquin/Ojibwe and this is a spirit that comes from our teachings.

As a young child, the elders taught me to never even SPEAK its name, to not even sing its songs. When we sang a song about it during drumming group one year, we all got in trouble.

You do not spell the word or speak the word.

It's NOT a "cryptid" or a "spooky story" for white people to appropriate.

Its bearly spoken about in our own communities, and even then, only very carefully.

Again, not because its "creepy" but because its respected and something in our traditions that is not played around with; so its certainly not for non-ojibwe/algonquin people to speak about whatsoever. Period.
