muse a is a known player. they don’t “do” relationships, the fallout of having parents that divorced when they were young and receiving some sketch love advice from their lifelong bachelor uncle as a child. however muse b was always someone different to them. their first kiss, their first love, someone they could never forget. when they ran into each other in the city in college, muse b was wary of muse a but decided to give them a chance ⏤ unfortunately, as was expected, muse a fucked up and left muse b without a word, breaking their heart. fast forward to now, muse a has returned to their small town at the same time as muse b for their best friends’ wedding. with both of them serving in the wedding party and their problems still left unsolved, muse a comes to realize they need to fight to get muse b back while muse b decides to leave muse a in the past once & for all. will they fix their issues or will the wedding be the end of them, forever?

plot where our muses were high school sweethearts and tried long distance for a while, swore they’d be together forever, gave each other promise rings, the whole ordeal. but they grew apart and broke up. years later, one is moving back home and they’re suddenly running in the same circles again and it’s bringing up a lot of … feelings. bonus if one of them is engaged to someone else.

• okay but I really want this historical plot where muse A is a king that came into power with many enemies and is super paranoid about his life and always sleeps with a dagger under his pillow. Enter muse B who is the assassin sent to kill him but not in a conventional means since a direct attack would never work. Muse B is supposed to try and get close to muse A, win his trust, and kill him. But plot twist when muse A suspected it somewhere from the beginning but decided to see how far muse B was willing to go/could go. So we’d have this whole power play back and forth, sizing each other up silently, no trust whatsoever because he is known to be ruthless to those who plot against him and she legit entered with the sole purpose of killing him, a lot of sexual tension once they both are on the same page. A lot of “I could kill you.” “ Well here I am”s from both parties. (AU)
• Can I trust you? You caught Wenhan harming another vampire in order to find information on Luna (aka his ex). What makes it worse is that you realize no matter how dangerous the situation is, he doesn’t care. You insist in helping him. (or stopping him?) finding out about his past. (Action, Angst)
• OH NO: I tried taking you back to your apartment, but you refuse to tell me where you live since you’re so drunk, and you puked on me and oh my god you’re paying for dry cleaning.  (Humor, Slice of life)
• its the summer of 1982, and there’s been a murder. one of your characters is a waiter at the local diner/cafe who catches gossip which may or may not be 63% true and the other one is the detective who just can’t seem to catch a break. (AU)

• A cup of coffee spill somehow led to an old odd encounter. (old friendships, enemy, old hook ups) 

Muse A is the definition of panicked gay, they’re just starting to realize that they’re not exactly as straight as they’ve been trying to pretend to be, and things are further more thrown into chaos when they meet their new college roommate Muse B who is a highkey confident gay. Muse A is constantly facing an identity crisis because Muse B keeps flirting their ass off and Muse A is falling HARD for them and is partly terrified because this is so new to them; and Muse B is just so endeared by Muse A’s antics during this whole process that what started off as playful teasing has turned into them falling equally as hard back.

in college, muse a and muse b lost their virginities to each other. it was a mutual agreement between two near strangers to get this whole sex thing over with. since then, their love lives haven’t exactly been on the up & up. muse a is still obsessed with their first love, who keeps leading them on to be fair, while muse b can’t seem to hold down a meaningful relationship outside of sex. when the two of them run into each other, they realize that they have more in common than they previously thought and decide to try to help one another, without the burden of sex (they even create a safeword for when the other does something particularly sexy). they start to enjoy each other’s company, spend a significant amount of their time together, and the issues they’d previously had surrounding relationships start to fall away. muse a starts to date someone without stressing over their ex. muse b gets into a relationship with someone that they keep dating even after the first time they have sex. things are starting to look up  ⏤ except now, they can’t stop thinking about one another. nearly everyone around them thinks they’re in love with each other and despite their great new relationships, they’re starting to see this too. the only thing holding them back? their relationship with each other is too important for them to even potentially ruin with sex. it terrifies them to risk losing one another. will they take the leap?

muse a and muse b used to date. they were fire and music, balls of passion and spontaneity (lets get matching tattoos or run from this town?? down, lets go) until they blew up. after a horrid break up, muse a moves onto someone new, someone stable, some good for them, but boring. their life seems to be a neverending loop of staleness … until they run into muse b again that breathes life into them. will they chase the fire, or stick to what they’re used to?

muse a is desperately in love with muse b. the thing is, muse b is this super popular person (in school, amongst peers, literally a celebrity, you choose). muse b might give muse a the time of day, but it’s clear muse a’s heart is way more in this relationship that muse b’s. or is it? maybe muse a starts to see their worth and walk away just as muse b begins to return those feelings.

muse a is painfully shy. it’s the summer before everything changes and they run into muse b, someone who washes the fear away from them. after 91 days of constantly being together, it’s time for them to part ways. maybe this is the one thing that muse a is still afraid of  –––  losing b. 

a CLASSIC. classic case of muse b being in a relationship with someone who is not good for them. muse a knows they’re better for them. spice things up, instead of having muse a silently pine for b, have them meddle. maybe they never get together? maybe they learn they’re better as friends?? the world is your oyster.

muse a and muse b decide to take a break. they promise to come back to each other someday, but when ‘someday’ comes, one of them has already moved on. what now?

coming from horrible home lives, muse a and muse b decide to run away together, thinking them being together will solve all their problems. it works for a while, until those problems come back to haunt them. (people literally chase them down to bring them back, they’re broke and can’t afford to live together, married life isn’t that great, you pick go wild)

we’re both about to leave our hometown and part ways but before that , let’s look back and reminisce on everything we went through here ( and maybe create some new memories ) . sometimes , i can’t believe we’re moving past this feeling .

we’re best friends , and even though i’ve had feelings for you for a while i’m too scared to confess because a ) i don’t want to mess up our friendship and b ) you’re dating someone else … who isn’t exactly great , according to me , your parents , and everyone ever . sometimes i think you might feel the same way i do , though ; i’m trying to understand these days .

we were best friends as kids but as we grew up , we ended up being different people and drifted apart . a couple years later we have a chance meeting ( high school reunion , old friend group meetup , etc ) and i want to reconnect . i know i’m not a very good friend , but i miss you .

after moving out and becoming independent , we end up as roommates in a rundown apartment building . like , really – this house is falling apart . even though we didn’t know each other before , we quickly become attached at the hip and i know i wouldn’t trade this for any luxury apartment .

after living a mostly troubled life up until this point , we cross paths somehow . i’m distant and unsure of this whole thing , but you’re like the sun and you don’t let that stop you . we’re two very different people , but we end up growing so close that you can have my heart any place , any time .

we’re the youngest children of two wealthy families who tend to have plenty of parties and other events . we never seem to fit in with them – you’re picture perfect , yet still heavily criticized by your family , while i stopped caring long ago about what mine says . dinner party after dinner party we end up bonding ; i assure you that you don’t have to try so hard to please them , and then you did something wrong and you said it was great .

plot idea:  i was just trying to have a one night stand with a stranger at the club/bar so i lied about my name and entire life when we met. but after we hooked up i kept thinking about you, so we ended up hooking up again another night and i kept lying. and it keeps happening and now i’m in too deep to tell you the truth so i’m just living this fake life whenever i see you but i really like you

a plot where ‘your father is my boss, and i’m just an intern that is really trying to get on his good side, and you’re not making things easy since you’re the boss’s daughter and I see the way you look at me. also teasing me during meetings, and pretending you’re an innocent angel doesn’t help.’
